SHOW ME THE MONEY (쇼미더머니)



2012 yılında "Show Me the Money" adı ile Kore'de bir TV programı yayınlanmaya başlanıldı. Programın formatı biraz karışık olmakla birlikte rapçiler "American Idol"deki gibi seçmeler bölümü ile elemeye kalıyorlar. Ön elememeyi geçenler prodüksör ve aynı zamanda rapçi olan büyük isimlerin gruplarına dahil oluyorlar. Program çok eleştiri almasına rağmen çok başarılı bir başlangıç yaptı ve bu yaz 3. sezonu çekiliyor. Katılımcılara eksi ve artı yönlerini göstermek için profesyonel rapçiler juride yer alıyor, aynı zamanda program ile popüleritelerini güçlendirmelerini sağlıyorlar.



Programın İçeriği

Dünyada ilk kez denenen bir program türüdür; hıp-hop yapan insanların birbiri ile olan mücadelelerini konu alır.
Hıp-hop partilerine düştüğünüzde rapçilerin hikayelerinde kendinizi bulacaksınız.

- Azılı Para Savaşı : 200 kişiden oluşan bir izleyci kitlesinin 1 kişinin para ödülünü alması için oylama yapmasıdır. Bu savaşın galibi olmak için takımlar dinleyicilerinin kalplerini kazanmalılar!
- Şaşırtıcı Mücadele : Rapçilerin kadarleri aslında birbirlerine bağlıdır. Yeni nesil rapçiler efsanevi bir şekilde takım olarak mücadele etmeliler.
- Bu Hip-hop : İşbirliğini tam anlamıyla yapabilenler sadece diğerlerinden daha yoğun ve muhteşem olabilirler.
- Sıcak Rekabet : Rapçilerin umutlarını, dostluklarını ve dokunaklı hikayelerini izleyebilirsiniz. Bu onların hayatlarındaki belki de son şansları.

"Show Me the Money" is the name of a TV show program in Korea that began in 2012. The format of the show is a bit complex. It starts with an audition portion like the "American Idol" for rappers. Then the winners of the audition joins forces with big name rappers and producers. Although there were a lot of criticism towards the program, it turned out very successful and the Season 3 is to be aired this summer. There are pros and cons for already professional rappers to join the show, because they can either come out way more popular, or be dissed by the whole nation and be marked as unskilled rapper.



Program Introduce

This is the very first hip-hop survival show. The world has never seen before.
You will find yourself fall in hip-hop party and rappers' story.

- Fierce Money Battle : 200 audiences take a vote on 1 crew for whom they want to give prize-money. To survive, the crews have to capture audiences' heart!
- Astonishing Survival : Rappers are bound together with a common destiny. This is a crew survival of legendary and new-born rappers.
- It's Hip-hop : Where the collaboration can be more than just gorgeous and more than simply intense.
- Heated Competition : You can watch the rappers' friendship, hope and touching story. This can be the last chance in their life.

Loco sahte bir şirket ile sözleşme imzalamış bilinmeyen bir rapçi idi. Yarışmayı kazandıktan sonra büyük bir çıkış yaptı. Bir buçuk yıl sonra bir çok grafik onun şarkısını bir numarada gösteriyordu. Sezon 2 birinci sezon gibi geçmemişti, birinci sezonda daha çok sahneye yeni adım atan rapçiler vardı. Miryo (daha önceleri Honey Family için rapçilik yaptı şimdi ise Brown Eyed Girls grubunda rapçi) şarkıların sözlerini tam olarak ezberleyemiyordu ve performanslarında sürekli duraksıyordu hatta başa alıyordu.

Loco was a unknown rapper who had gone through a fake contract with an entertainment before the show. He ended up winning the show and came out huge after the show. After an year and a half, he released a song that reached 1st place in multiple charts. Unlike Season 2, Season 1's rappers who passed the audition portion of the show were almost completely new rappers to the scene. Miryo (previous rapper for Honey Family and currently rapper for Brown Eyed Girls), on the other hand, gave multiple performances that were really underwhelming where she couldn't memorize the lyrics and even had to stop and redo a performance.

Show Me The Money'nin 2. sezonunda sıralanan birçok tanınmış ve saygın rapçilerin olması dikkat çekmişti. Öncelikle 2. sezon kazananı Soul Dive ne showdan önce nede showdan sonra popüler bir hıphop grubu değildi. Bu program Mad Clown ve Swings'e (aka Punchline King) popülerlik getirdi.
Soul Company sayesinde Mad Clown underground sektöründe biraz tanınıyordu zaten showdan sonra top-star statüsüne yerleşti ve birçok grafikte ilk sıralarda yer aldı.
Outsider & Baechigi underground piyasasında daha çok tanınan iki isim ve Sniper Sound'un ana rapçilerindenler. Baechigi'nin ikinci turda elenmesi birçok insanı şaşırttı. Outsider ise sadece artık uzman olduğu performaslarını sergiledi, deli gibi hızlı rap yapıyor ama onu birçok insandan ayıracak bir farklılığı yoktu. Lexy bir noktada Kore'deki en popüler kadın rapçi olmuştu ama performansları hiç etkileyici değildi. Jiggy Fellaz gibi yer altı rapinde saygın bir yeri olan grup içinde bulundu LE ama seçmeleri bile geçemedi. (Göz yaşlarına boğulmuştu.) Çoğu kişi onun EXID'e katıldıktan sonra rapten koptuğunu düşündü.

Season 2 of Show Me the Money gained a lot more attention than the first season due to the line-up of many famous and respected rappers. First of all, winner of Season 2 was Soul Dive, but they were already respected and not a popular hip hop group before or after the show. Those who came out with exploding popularity were Mad Clown and Swings (aka Punchline King). Mad Clown was already somewhat famous underground rapper who had been in the Soul Company label. He was put on a top-star status after the show and was placed first multiple times on the charts.
Outsider and Baechigi are 2 of the most popular underground and mainstream rappers from label Sniper Sound. Baechigi was knocked out on the second round which surprised a lot of people. Outsider gave performances where he just used his specialty, insanely fast rapping, but didn't show any diversity, which made a lot of people think that he could only rap fast without skill. Lexy was at one point the most popular female rapper in Korea, but gave underwhelming performances. LE was part of a respected underground crew, Jiggy Fellaz, but she couldn't even pass the audition part. People thought she lost the touch after joining girl idol group, EXID.

Show Me the Money Sezon 3'de ise çılgın rap canavarları gösteri zamanlarını bekliyorlar. Swings ise karşımıza sezon 3'de juri olarak çıkıyor. San-E (aka Rap Genius) Show Me The Money izleyicilerin görmek istediği bir isimdi. Tablo (Epik High) ise inanılmaz yetenekli ve en saygın hıphop sanatçılarından biri, 2000'lerde underground rapçi olarak yaşadığı günleri yad etmek için katıldı. B.I. ve Bobby YG Entertainment'dan onaylı olarak katıldılar. YG'nin yayınlanan TV programı ''WIN"de onlar becelerini kanıtlamıştı zaten büyük bir hayran kitlesine şimdiden sahipler.

Show Me the Money Season 3 is already being hyped like crazy due to even crazier line-up of monster rappers. Swings is joining Season 3 as a judge instead of an auditionee through the audition portion. San-E (aka Rap Genius), a rapper who everyone wanted to see in Show Me the Money is finally here. Tablo (of Epik High), one of the most respected hip hop artist with amazing skills, is joining to re-live the days he spent as an underground rapper in the early 2000's. As for the auditionees, B.I. and Bobby from YG Entertainment are confirmed. Through the TV program that YG held called "WIN", they showed great skills and already have a huge fanbase.
