Seung-Hee Park Koreli bir tenordur. 1994’ten 1998’e kadar Kore Ulusal Üniversitesi’nde (Seoul’da) sanat üzerine çalismistir. 1998’den beri de Profesör Klaus Dieter ile çalismakta ve ögretmenlik yapmaktadir. Kendisi tarihe de ilgi duymustur. Ilginç tarihi çalgilarla performans göstermis ve pratik yapmistir. Barok tarzi müzik üzerine çalismis ve Gerd Türk(Alman Tenor) ile Schola Cantorum Basiliensis’e bu dalda sarki söylemistir. 2002 yilinda da Leipzig’de XIII Uluslararasi Bach Yarismasi’nda sarki söyleyerek 3. lük ödülünü almistir. Brugge’de de Antika Müzik Yarismasi’nda bir ödülün sahibi olmustur. Chimay’da yapilan Barok tarzi müzik yarismasinda ve 2004 yilinda Japonya Yamanashi'de yapilan yarismalarda da ödül almistir. Seung Hee Park, Avrupa’da bir çok ülkenin orkestrasinda yer almistir.
Seung Hee Park önemli festivallere de davet edilmistir. Katildigi festivaller: Leipziger Bachfest 2002 ve2005, Anima mundi Churchmusic Festivali Pisa/ Italya, Darmstadt’daki Residenz Festivali, Magdeburg Telemann Festivali, Kurfälsische Mozart Tage, Karlsruhe Bach 2000, Rheinsberg Kammeroper 2003, Tochigi Music Festivali (Japonya) ve Early Music Festivali Seul / Kore.

Born: 1970 - Seoul, South Korea
The Korean tenor, Seung-Hee Park, studied from 1994 to 1998 at the Korean National University for Arts in Seoul, and since 1998 with Professor Klaus Dieter Kern at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe. He has also participated in master-classes. His special interest applies for historical performance practice. Therefore he studied Baroque singing with Gerd Türk to the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. He was finalist at the Biagio-Martini-Wettbewerb in Neuburg an der Donau 2000, and received the 3rd Prize for singing at the XIII International Bach Competition in Leipzig 2002. He also won prizes at the Competition Musica Antiqua in Brugge, Baroque Singing Competition in Chimay (Belgien) and in 2004 as well at the Early Music Competition in Yamanashi (Japan).
In his career Seung-Hee Park has already co-operated with renowned conductors, orchestras and Baroque ensemble in Europe, Japan and Korea, such as Helmuth Rilling, Oane Wierdsma, Paul Dombrecht, Kay Johannsen, Frieder Bernius, Masaaki Suzuki, Philippe Pierlot, Bathold Kuijken, Ricercar Consort, Thomanerchor Leipzig, Leipziger Barockensemble, Bach-Collegium Stuttgart, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Il Fondamento (Brugge), Concerto d´Amsterdam, Floreligium Musicum, Karlsruhe Barockorchester, and Musica Glorifica.
Seung-Hee Park is in demand as Evangelist with oratorios of Bach in Germany and Holland. He has been invited to important festivals, such as Leipziger Bachfest 2002 and 2005, "Anima mundi�Churchmusic Festival in Pisa/Italy, Residenz Festival in Darmstadt, Magdeburg Telemann Festival, Kurfälsische Mozart Tage, Karlsruhe Bach 2000, Rheinsberg Kammeroper 2003, Tochigi Music Festival in Japan and Early Music Festival in Seoul/Korea
