Bu ölümün ardindan Güney Kore'nin ve ABD'nin alarma geçtigi ile ilgili haberler var. Oglunun nasil politika izleyecegi kestirilemedigi için bu tür bir alarm durumuna geçilmesi de normal tabi. Oglunun nasil bir politika izleyecegini merak ediyorum. Kominist rejimle yönetilen bir ülke olmasina ragmen bu gibi durumlarda en azindan taziyeleri kabul etmeleri gerekirdi. Bu ülkenin asilmaz duvarlari ve açilmaz kapilarinin olmasi gerçekten ilginç ve bir o kadar üzücü. Nette dolasan haberlerde gördügüm resimler ülkenin tamaminin ölen liderlerini çok sevdigini ve hepsinin ciddi anlamda yasta oldugunu kanitliyor gibi. Nihayetinde o da bir insan ama lider olarak ne kadar iyi oldugu düsündürücü. Ne diyelim, Allah rahmet eylesin.

Leadership Race Heats up in New Opposition Party

Yeni Muhalefet Partisinde Liderlik Yarisi Kizisiyor

Yeni birlesen muhalefet Birlesmis Demokrat Parti'nin ilk lideri olma yarisi kizisiyor.

Parti üyeleri, parti liderlerini seçmek için 15 ocakta yapilmasi planlanan parti seçimi öncesi, birbiri ardindan vaatlerini açikliyorlar.

Son devlet baskani Roh Moo-hyun'un takipçisi olan eski basbakan Han Myeong-sook ve eski muhalefetin kidemli üyesi Mun Sung-gun, pazartesi günü vaatlerini açikladilar.

Eski ana muhalefet Demokrat Partinin lideri olarak görev yapan Park Jie-won'un da parti baskanligi yarisina katilmasi bekleniyor. Nisandaki parlamento seçimlerinde Daegu'da bir bölgeden adayligini koyacagini açiklayan temsilci Kim Boo-kyum da yeni partinin en üst düzey görevinde yer almayi bekliyor.

Eski Demokrat Parti konsey üyesi Lee In-young, Demokrat Parti müfridi Lee Jong-kul ve ekonomist Woo Che-chang'in da yeni birlesen partinin liderligi için adayligini koymasi bekleniyor.

The race to become the first leader of the newly-merged opposition Unified Democratic Party is heating up.

Party members are declaring their bids one after another ahead of a party primary scheduled January 15th to elect party leaders.

Former Prime Minister Han Myeong-sook, a follower of late President Roh Moo-hyun, and Mun Sung-gun, a senior member of a former opposition splinter, each declared their bids on Monday.

Park Jie-won, who served as floor leader of the former main opposition Democratic Party (DP)and has his support base in the Jeolla provinces, is also expected to join the race for party chairman. Representative Kim Boo-kyum, who has declared his intent to run in the April parliamentary elections representing a district in Daegu City, is seeking the top post of the new party as well.

Former Democratic Party Supreme Council member Lee In-young, DP hardliner Lee Jong-kul and Woo Che-chang, an economist, are also expected to run for chief of the newly-consolidated opposition party.

902 S.Koreans Staying in N.Korea

Hükümet, hali hazirda 900 Güney Koreli'nin Kuzey Kore'de ikamet ettigini söyledi.

Birlesme Bakanligi, bu rakamin 879'unun Gaesong Sanayi Sitesi'nde ve 13'ünün de Goryeo Kralligi'ndan kalan tarihi kraliyet saray alaninin ortaya çikarilmasi projesinde çalisanlardan olustugu bilgisini verdi. Kore Sivil Toplum Örgütü, Kuzey Kore ile Isbirligi Konseyi'nden diger on kisinin de Kuzey Hwanghae Eyaleti'ne bagli Gangnam sehrinde oturduklari belirtildi.

Bakanliktan bir yetkili, hükümetin Gaesong Sanayi Sitesi yönetim kurulu ile Güney Korelilerin güvenligini saglamak için önlemler aldigini ve basbakan yardimcisi baskanliginda ilgili tedbirleri görüsmek üzere acil bir toplanti yapilacagini söyledi.

The government says about 900 South Koreans are currently staying in North Korea.

The Unification Ministry said on Monday that the figure includes 879 at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex and 13 people working on an inter-Korean project to preserve the site of a royal palace of the ancient Goryeo Kingdom. Ten others from the Korea NGO Council for Cooperation with North Korea are reportedly staying in Gangnam, North Hwanghae Province.

A ministry official said that the government is taking measures to secure the safety of the South Koreans through the Gaeseong industrial complex management committee. The official said that the ministry is discussing related measures at an emergency meeting presided over by the vice minister.

Gov't to Watch N. Korea, Preparing for All Possible Scenarios
Hükümet Kuzey Kore'yi Izleyip Tüm Olasi Senaryolara Hazirlaniyor

Hükümet, Kuzey Kore lideri Kim Jong-il'in ölümünün ardindan ülkenin durumunu yakindan izlemeye ve olasi senaryolara hazirlik yapmaya karar verdi.

Baskanlik ofisine bagli ulusal kriz yönetim merkezi baskani Ahn Kwang-chan, Devlet Baskani Lee Myung-bak baskanliginda Ulusal Güvenlik Konseyi'nin acil durum toplantisi yapmayi kararlastirdigini duyurdu. Ahn, ilgili kriz yönetim kilavuzuna göre hükümetin gerekli tüm adimlari attigini söyledi.

Hükümet ayni zamanda Kore Yarimadasi'nda baris ve güvenligin sürdürülmesi için diger ülkelerle yakin isbirligi içinde olmaya karar verdi.

Bu arada devlet baskani, halktan sakin olmalarini ve Kuzey Kore liderinin ölümüyle sarsilmadan ekonomik faaliyetlerine devam etmelerini istedi.

The government has decided to closely monitor the situation in North Korea and prepare for all possible scenarios following the death of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.

Ahn Kwang-chan, the head of the national crisis management office under the presidential office said the government made the decision on Monday during an emergency meeting of the National Security Council presided over by President Lee Myung-bak. Ahn said the government is taking all necessary steps according to a related crisis management manual.

The government also decided to closely cooperate with other countries to maintain peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

Meanwhile, the president asked the public to stay calm and continue their economic activities without being shaken by the death of the North Korean leader.

Int'l meeting on global economic crisis opens

Uluslararasi küresel ekonomik kriz üzerine toplanti düzenleniyor

Güney Kore Maliye Bakani Bahk Jae-wan, 19 Aralik 2011 tarihinde Seoul'de bir otelde, "Dünya 2012 yilinda Ekonomi ve Küresel Ekonomik Isbirligi: Meksika G20 Ilerisi için Sorunlar" temasi altinda uluslararasi bir konferansta bir konusma sundu. Maliye Bakanligi ve devlet tarafindan isletilen tank Kore Kalkinma Enstitüsü, küresel ekonomik kriz ile basa çikma yollarini tartismak için toplantiya ortak ev sahipligi yapti.

Kuzey Kore için bir Güney Kore yardim grubu olan Kore Uzlasma ve Isbirligi Konseyi, Kuzey Kore lideri Kim Jong-il'in ölümü üzerine ailesine ve Kuzey Korelilere bassagligi diledi.

Konsey, bugün yaptigi açiklamada, Kuzey zorluklarin ve acilarin üstesinden akillica gelecektir dedi.

Diger bir sivil toplum örgütü olan Kore Baris Forumu da Kuzey Kore liderinin ölümü üzerine bassagligi dileklerini ileten bir bildiri yayinladi.

The Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation, a South Korean aid group for North Korea, has expressed condolences over the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il to his family and the North Koreans.

The council on Tuesday also said in its statement that it hopes the North will overcome its sorrows and difficulties wisely.

The Korea Peace Forum, another South Korean civic group, also issued a statement expressing condolences to the North Koreans over their leader’s death.
