Bir balikçi, 13 Subat 2012 tarihinde Ulsan'in güneydogu sehrindeki bir deniz çiftliginde, Korece "miyeok" olarak bilinen deniz yosunu topladi. Koreliler yosunu, "miyeokguk" olarak bilinen geleneksel Kore yosun çorbasini yapmak için kullanir.

Yabanci sigaralarinin zammini protesto etti

Joseon Hanedanligi (1392-1910) döneminde generaller tarafindan giyilen geleneksel kiyafetler içinde bir adam, yabanci yapimi sigara zammini protesto etmek için 13 Subat 2012 tarihinde Seoul sehir merkezinde tek basina bir gösteri yapti. Gösteri, son aylarda veya fiyat düzenlemeleri ile ilgili duyuruda Philip Morris, Ingiliz Amerikan Tütün ve Japonya Uluslararasi Tütün gibi yabanci tütün üreticilerinin fiyatlarinin artmasinin ardindan geldi.

Food distributed to starving wildlife in DMZ

Korenin Silahtan Arindirilmis Bölgesindeki Aç Yabani Hayvanlara Gida Dagitildi

Yabani hayati koruma örgütü patatesleri de içeren yiyecekleri askeri helikopter ile Seoul'ün 118 kilometre kuzeydogusundaki Hwacheon sinirina indirdi.

Bu yiyecekler Koreyi ikiye bölen Kore'nin Silahtan Arindirilmis Alana yogun kar ve soguk hava dalgasindan dolayi aç kalan yabani hayvanlara dagitilacak. Kore'nin Silahtan Arindirilmis Bölgesi (DMZ) yabani hayvanlar için bir cennet çünkü mütareke ile sona eren 1950-53 Kore Savasi'ndan beri bu bölgede insanlar bulunmuyor.

Baskent Dakka'nin 130 km dogusunda bir Banglades köyünde bir ilkokulda bir grup çocuk, Kore Uluslararasi Isbirligi Ajansinin kirsal kalkinma projesinin tamamlanmasi adina 13 Subat 2012'de düzenlenen bir tören sirasinda tesekkürlerini ifade etmek için Güney Kore bayragini gösteren levhalar tutarak poz verdi. 2010'da baslatilan proje; 2 ilkokul, 8 kilometrelik bir su geçidi ve 10 kilometrelik bir yol insasi ve 11 köye tarim araçlarin saglanmasi da dahil 3.50 milyon dolara mal oldu. KOICA, ücretsiz yardim saglayan devlet yönetiminde bir kurulus.

Launched in 2010, the project worth US$3.50 million included the construction of two elementary schools, an 8-kilometer waterway and a 10-kilometer road and the provision of agricultural machinery in 11 villages. KOICA is a state-run organization in charge of providing free aid.

Afgan vatandaslari, 15 Subat 2012 tarihinde Kuzey Afganistan'daki Charikar'da mesleki egitim merkezinde Güney Kore'nin il imar ekibinin (PRT) üssü içinde kuaförlügü ögreniyor. Ekip, 2010 yilinin ortalarindan bu yana Afgan sehrinde yeniden yapilanma ve kalkinma projelerini kolaylastirmistir. Bazi 350 Koreli birlik, PRT çalisanlarini korumak için Charikar tabaninda görevlendirildi. Güney Kore, savas yorgunu ülkeye yeniden yardim çabalarinin bir parçasi olarak, üs içinde polis ve is arayanlar için bir hastane ve iki egitim merkezinin insaatini tamamladi.

The team has facilitated reconstruction and development projects in the Afghan city since mid-2010. Some 350 Korean troops are stationed at the Charikar base to guard the PRT workers. South Korea has completed building a hospital and two training centers for police and job-seekers inside the base, as part of efforts to help rebuild the war-torn nation.
