Following sold-out concerts in North America and Europe, K-pop boy group BTS is gearing up for performances in front of Asian fans starting this month.
According to BTS' concerts schedule released by Big Hit Entertainment, the seven-member act is scheduled to stage 17 concerts in eight Asian cities and countries, including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Taoyuan, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The group's Japanese leg of the "Love Yourself" world tour will all take place at domes, the country's biggest concert venues. It will perform in Tokyo next Tuesday and Nov. 14; in Osaka on Nov. 21, 23 and 24; Nagoya on Jan. 12 and 13; and Fukuoka on Feb. 16 and 17. In Japan, BTS held its first dome concerts ever in Osaka in October last year.
According to data released Monday by Nikkei Entertainment, the septet ranked No. 19 in concert attendance in Japan this year, outperforming the popular Japanese bands Mr. Children and Exile The Second.
It will also perform in Taiwan's Taoyuan on Dec. 8 and 9; in Singapore on Jan. 19; in Hong Kong on March 20, 21, 23 and 24; and finally in Bangkok on April 6.
Separately, the group is set to jointly perform with Charlie Puth at the 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards later in the day. The awards ceremony takes place at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon, west of Seoul.
The joint performance is taking place a day ahead of the American musician's concerts in Korea on Nov. 7 and 8. BTS and Puth have posted admiring comments about each other on social media.

South Korean K-pop group BTS has won the most titles at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards.
According to U.S. media outlets, BTS took home top honors for best group, song, music video and social celebrity of 2018 at the annual awards’ ceremony in Santa Monica in the U.S. state of California on Sunday.
The People's Choice Awards is the only major awards choosing its winners entirely based on fan votes.
In the the best group category, BTS beat Twenty One Pilots, Panic!At the Disco, 5 Seconds of Summer and Super Junior.
The title track, IDOL, for the group’s repackaged abum, “Love Yourself: Answer,” was chosen as the song of the year over Ariana Gande’s "No Tears Left to Cry," Shawn Mendes’ "In My Blood," Selena Gomez’s "Back to You," Cardi B's "Bad Bunny" and J Balvin’s "I Like It."
Last month, the seven-member group became the first K-pop act to win the Favorite Social Artist award at the American Music Awards(AMA).

K-pop boy group EXO has reached the 23rd spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, the group's highest ever, with its latest LP, according to data released Wednesday for the week ending Nov. 17.
The chart performance of "Don't Mess Up My Tempo," released on Nov. 2, is the highest ever achieved by any K-pop group except for BTS. It is also the group's personal best yet on the chart.
Previously, it ranked 129th on the chart with the EP, "Overdose," 85th with the second LP, "Exodus," and 87th with the fourth LP, "The War."
"EXO prove they are far from slowing down as their new album Don't Mess Up My Tempo scores the boy band their first-ever Top 40 entry on the Billboard 200 as well as a slew of new, high-flying records," Billboard said on its website.
The album rose atop on Billboard's World Albums chart.
The group has recently achieved a major milestone in the Korean music industry with more than 10 million cumulative album sales. Among K-pop artists who debuted after 2000, EXO is the only one who has set the record.
All five of its LPs have sold at least 1 million copies. The latest one, "Don't Mess Up My Tempo," had sold 1.17 million copies as of Sunday.

Boy band GOT7 will release a repackaged album titled "Present: You & Me" on Dec. 3, its agency JYP Entertainment said Friday.
This will be the seven-member act's third album released this year following the EP "Eyes on You" in March and the full-length "Present You" in September.
The group is scheduled to hold concerts in Tokyo on Dec. 18-19 and Kobe on Feb. 2-3. It also plans to release a new EP album in Japan on Jan. 30.

The management agency of K-pop boy band Super Junior's Ryeowook said Monday he will delay the release of his new solo album due to health reasons.
Having completed his mandatory military service early in the year, Ryeowook initially planned to drop his new solo album, "Drunk on Love," on Tuesday. The release, however, has been pushed back to Jan. 2 next year, according to Label SJ.
Returning from his trip to perform at a music festival in Bangkok early Monday morning, Ryeowook complained of high fever and was diagnosed with Influenza A, Label SJ said. Doctors ordered him to rest in quarantine.
The management agency factored in the need to protect Ryeowook, as well as the possible risk of contagion, when deciding on the delay, it said.
"We ask for kind understanding from Ryeowook's fans, who have been eagerly waiting for his solo comeback," the agency said.

K-pop boy band BTS' latest album "Love Yourself: Answer" retained its presence on the main weekly Billboard album chart on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to a 15th week.
The final installment in the "Love Yourself" album series ranked 84th on Billboard 200 of the most popular 200 albums for the week of Dec. 15, slipping two places from last week's 82nd, according to chart updates.
It was the 15th week in a row that the album had been on the chart after landing atop the competitive list in early September.
On its release in May, the boy band's previous album, "Love Yourself: Tear," also took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the list for 15 weeks in a row.
For the week of Dec. 15, "Answer" topped Billboard's World Albums chart while "Tear" was placed third. Fourth place was claimed by "Love Yourself: Her," the other album in BTS' "Love Yourself" trilogy.
BTS claimed the top spot of the Billboard Social 50 chart for a 74th consecutive week, the longest such run in the chart's history.
BTS' management agency, Big Hit Entertainment, said Wednesday the music video of the group's 2015 song "Dope" surpassed the landmark 400 million-view mark on YouTube.
The song was released as part of BTS' third EP, "The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 1," and garnered this latest achievement in the early morning of Wednesday, according to Big Hit.

İkili Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter grubunun bateristi Jeon Tae-kwan perşembe günü 56 yaşında kanser yüzünden hayata gözlerini yumdu.
Grubun diğer üyesi Kim Jong-jin cuma günü blogunda Jeon'un, böbrek kanserine karşı verdiği altı senelik savaştan sonra perşembe gecesi vefat ettiğini duyurdu.
Jeon, müzik kariyerine 1986 yılında beş üyeli grup olan "Kim Hyun-sik ve Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter" ile başlamıştı. 1988'den itibaren ise grup Jeon ve Kim ikilisi ile devam etmişti. "Everyone is Likely to Change" şarkısı Kore grubu tarihinde yeni bir dönüm taşı olmuştu.

Drummer Jeon Tae-kwan of the duo Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter died of cancer on Thursday, aged 56.
The band’s other member, Kim Jong-jin, unveiled on his blog on Friday that Jeon died on Thursday night after losing a six-year fight to renal cancer.
Jeon began his music career in 1986 as a member of the five-member band, “Kim Hyun-sik and Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.” From 1988, the band was revamped to a duo comprising Jeon and Kim. The song “Everyone is Likely to Change” on their first album set a new milestone in the history of Korean bands.
This year, to mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut, fellow musicians produced a tribute album.
Jeon is survived by one daughter. A memorial altar has been set up at the Asan Medical Center in Seoul. His funeral will take place on Monday.

The 2018 report on U.S. Music Industry Consumption by Buzz Angle Music showed BTS sold 603,307 albums last year, coming after the top seller Eminem's 755,027.
The BTS sales figure was far more than those by two English-speaking music idols, Justin Timberlake and Ed Sheeran, who sold 432,913 and 409,291 albums, respectively, to rank 10th and 11th.
BTS released two albums last year -- "Love Yourself: Tear" and "Love Yourself: Answer" -- which both topped the Billboard 200 album chart, making the septet one of the few musicians to clinch the top spot of the list twice in one year.
The third most sold musician by album sales was Chris Stapleton, an American singer-songwriter who sold 577,287 albums, followed by the American heavy metal band Metallica, which came in fourth with 539,861 albums.
BTS also ranked 15th on the Buzz Angle Music's Top Artists chart, which takes into account album sales, as well as singles and on-demand audio streaming sales. Drake topped the same chart.
