Lim Hyung-taek / 임형택 (Writer)

1943 yılında Yeongam'da, Güney Jeolla Eyaleti'nde doğan Lim Hyung-taek, Seoul Ulusal Üniversitesi'nde Kore klasik edebiyatı (BA ve MA) okudu. Şu anda Sungkyunkwan Üniversitesi'nde profesördür ve Kore Edebiyat Tarihi Derneği ortak başkanıdır, ''Pratik Koreanology'' ile 15. Manhae Edebiyat Ödülü'nü almıştır. Yazarın eserleri: Kore Edebiyati Tarihi üzerine Perspektifler, Joseon Hanedanlığı'nın Anlatı Şiirleri, Kore Edebiyatı Tarihinin Mantığı ve Sistemi, Modern Kore Edebiyati Tarihi üzerine Bir İnceleme ve Im Ggok-jeong'u Yeniden Değerlendirme; çeviri ve derlemeleri: Joseon Hanedanlığı'nın Çin-Kore Kurgusunun Kısa Derlemesi; ortak çevirileri: Baekho'nun Tüm Eserleri; çeviri ve açıklamalı derlemeleri: Doğu Asya Edebiyati'nin Geçiş Çağı.

Born in 1943 in Yeong'am, South Jeolla Province, Lim Hyung-taek studied classical Korean literature (BA and MA) at Seoul National University.Currently a professor at Sungkyunkwan University and the joint head of the Society for Korean Literary History, he has received the 15th Manhae Prize for Literature for his Practical Koreanology. He has authored: Perspectives on the History of Korean Literature, Narrative Poems from the Joseon Dynasty, The Logic and System of the History of Korean Literature, A Treatise on the History of Modern Korean Literature, and A Reappraisal of Im Ggok-jeong; translated and edited A Collection of Short Sino-Korean Fiction from the Joseon Dynasty; co-translated The Complete Works of Baekho, Translated and Annotated; and edited East Asian Literature in an Age of Transition.
