Genel Bakış

Kore Protestan İlahiyat Üniversitesi ve ilahiyat fakültesi İncil için saf tutku üzerine kurulmuştur ve Protestan geleneğinin güçlü yönlerini Tanrı’nın sözünün çizimine tam teslimiyettir. Onlar için alan eğitimi Tanrı’nın krallığını ilerletmek ve ulusları Hristiyanlığa döndürmektir ve bu prensiple üniversite akademik bir lider haline geliyor.
İlahiyat bölümleri, Hristiyan Eğitimi, Kilise Müziği, Toplumsal Refah, Erken Çocukluk Eğitimi, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve İngilizceyle ulusa ve dünyaya uzanmak amacıyla bütünsel, çok yönlü bir Hristiyanlık hizmetiyle kurulmuştur. Akademik araştırmaları ve alan uygulamasını birleştiren üniversitemizin adını yaşatmak için çabalıyoruz ve doğru bir üniversiteye çağırıyoruz.

Mezhepçilik ötesine ulaşan, ibadeti teşvik edici araştırma paradigmasının evrimi, Hristiyanlık hizmeti arasındaki dengeyi ve misyonumuz toplumsal barış ideolojisini ve öğrencilik zihnine sağlam bir temel atıyoruz.
Akademik personelimiz zekâ ve kendini yansıtmayla dünyaya zihin reformunu taşıyor. Öğrencilerimiz öğrendiklerini gayretle uygulamak için dünyaya korkusuzca ileri adım atıyorlar. Profesörler ve öğrenciler kalplerini birleştiriyorlar ve hedeflerine ulaşmak için çaba gösteriyorlar. Üniversitemizin temel amacı, değişen dünyaya ebedi İncil’i götürmek ve bu yeni binyıl boyunca Tanrı’nın savunucusu olmaktır.

Overview

Korea Baptist Theological University and Seminary(KBTUS) is founded on the pure passion for the Gospel and complete submission to God's Word drawing on the strengths of the Baptist tradition. On this principle the university is becoming a leader in academic and field training for those called to advance God's kingdom and evangelize the nations.
The Departments of Theology, Christian Education, Church Music, Social Welfare, Early Childhood Education, Counseling Psychology, and English were established with the aim of reaching out to the nation and the world with a holistic, well-rounded Christian service. Combining academic research and field implementation, our university is striving to live up to the name and calling of a true university.
We are laying a solid foundation by encouraging worship that reaches beyond denominationalism, evolution of a research paradigm, balance between Christian service and mission, an ideology of communal peace, and the mind of discipleship.

Our academic staff carry the mind of reformation into the world with intelligence and self-reflection. Our students fearlessly step forward into the world eager to implement what they have learned. Together, the professors and students unify with heart and make an effort to achieve their goals. The main aim of the university is to carry the eternal gospel into the changing world and be God's advocates during this new millennium.

Kronoloji

Okul 1954 yılında hükümetin onayını kazanmış ve adını Kore Protestan İlahiyat Fakültesi olarak değiştirmiştir. İlahiyat Fakültesi 1973 yılında hükümetin onayıyla 4 yıllık bir üniversiteye genişletilmiştir. 6 bölüm ilahiyat bölümünü tamamlamak için eklenmiştir: 1978 yılında Hristiyan Eğitimi Bölümü, 1983 yılında Kilise Müziği Bölümü, 1992 yılında Toplumsal Refah Bölümü, 1998 yılında Erken Çocukluk Eğitimi Bölümü, 1999 yılında Psikolojik Danışmanlık Bölümü ve 2001 yılında İngilizce Bölümü. Doktora çalışmaları Felsefe Doktorunun (Ph.D.) girişimiyle 1987 yılında eklenmiştir. 1994 yılında okul Kore Protestan İlahiyat Üniversitesi/İlahiyat Fakültesi adını almıştır.

Zengin ve dolu tarihiyle Üniversite/İlahiyat Fakültesi Muk-dong kampüsünden 1992 yılında Yusong’da elli dönümlük yeni bir araziye taşınarak devam etti.

Chronology

In 1954, the school attained governmental approval and changed its name to Korea Baptist Seminary. The seminary was expanded to a four-year college in 1973 with governmental accreditation. Six departments have been added to complement the Department of Theology: the Department of Christian Education in 1978, the Department of Church Music in 1983, the Department of Social Welfare in 1992, the Department of Early Childhood Education in 1998, the Department of Counseling Psychology in 1999, and the Department of English in 2001. Doctoral studies were added in 1987 with the initiation of the Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.). In 1994, the school was renamed Korea Baptist Theological University/Seminary.
The rich and full history of the Mok-dong campus continued in 1992 as the University/Seminary was relocated to a new fifty-acre campus in Yusong.
