R&D merkezi Kore'de Mart 1990 yılında kurulan araştırma tesisi olarak, bilim ve teknoloji bakanlığı tarafından onaylanmış bir kuruluştur. 1998 yılında Busan Kenti daha entegre ve etkin pilot araştırma ekipmanlarını ve kesin analiz donanımlarını Pohong Şehri'ne taşıdı. Kiswire R&D center has became the only high carbon steel wire manufacturing technology R&D center in Korea, approved by the ministry of science and technology as an affiliated research facility in March, 1990. When moved from Busan City to Pohang City in 1998, more integrated and efficient pilot research equipment and precise analysis equipment were installed. Especially, pilot research facilities include all the equipments related to steel wire manufacturing technology. We are able to minimize trial and error in practical application since all the researches are conducted mainly based on trials at pilot facilities. At present, with iron and steel companies, R&D centers and universities around Kiswire R&D center, we perform efficient researches by exchanging technology and through cooperative research. The research items Kiswire R&D center involved with are pretreatment, surface treatment in the electroplating galvanization, heat treatment, plastic deformation in wire drawing, rolling, stranding & closing, special new material development, surface analysis research, automation-related research and technical information management
