Jeju-do'da bulunan bahsi geçen ev bir zamanlar bir seyyar satıcının konaklama yeriydi (han). Joseon Hanedanlığı'nın eski dönemlerinde inşa edilmiştir. Dört açık kenarıyla 'ㅁ' harfinin modeli üzerine tasarlanan ana bina, dış bina, depo, geçit kanadı dört ana kanattır. Üç bölümlü ana bina Jeju-do iline özgüdür. Jeju ilinde genel kullanımda, ana evler üç bölümden oluşur. Ev içerisinde ahşap döşeme, bir mutfak, bir küçük oda, bir iç oda ve ev hanımları için ev bir kiler içermektedir. Ahşap zeminli taraça iç odanın önündedir ve saman çatı, adanın meşhur kuvvetli fırtınalarından korunması amacıyla iplerle sımsıkı bağlanmıştır. Dış taraftaki ev, çitçilik aletleri, bir taş oluk ve bir para kutusu ile döşelidir. Bu, çiftçinin evinin ve seyyar satıcının hanının karakterini gösteriyor. Benzersiz evin sahibi dedi ki, evin yanında değirmen olmasına rağmen tahrip edildi. Seyyar satıcının hanı kadar iyi görünen çiftçinin karakteristik evi, geleneksel halk yaşamı ve mimari çalışma için değerli bir kaynak olarak kabul edilir.

It is said that this house, which is located on Jeju-do province, was once a peddler's inn. Built in the late Joseon Dynasty, the main house, the outer house, repository, the gate wing are the four main wings, the lay-out of which modeled itself upon the letter 'ㅁ' with four open corners. The three-compartment main house is typical in Jeju-do province. It comprises inner wooden-floor hall, a kitchen, a small room, an inner room for the housewife of the house and a pantry.
Wooden-floor veranda is in front of the inner room, and the thatched roof is firmly fastened by ropes to protect it from the gale winds for which the island is famous. The outer house is furnished with farming tools, a stone trough and a cash box.
This shows the characteristic of the farmer's house as well as of the peddler's inn. Uniquely, the owner of the house is said to have had a treadmill next to the house, althoug it has been demolished. Showing characteristic of the farmer's house as well as of the peddler's inn, this house is regarded as a valuable resource for the study of the traditional folk life and architecture.
