15. Jeonju Uluslararası Film Festival, Kore'nin geleneksel olarak tarihi güzel bir şehri olan Jeonju'da düzenlenecektir. 2000 yılında duyurulan JIFF, şu anda Asya bağımsız film festivalinin Mekkesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır ve dünyadaki öncü sinemanın en geniş penceresidir. JIFF, son 14 yıldır izleyicilere çeşitli, anlamlı ve çağdaş sinema dili sunarak bağımsız ruhun eşsiz seslerini ön plana çıkarmaktadır. 2000 ylından beri yeni ve yükselen film yapımcıları, JIFF tarafından dünya sahnesinde tanıtılmaktadır ve JIFF kazananlarının, uluslararası film festivali sahnelerinde takdir edilmesiyle sonuçlanmıştır.

The 15th Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF) will be held at Jeonju, a traditionally beautiful historic city of Korea. Launched in 2000, JIFF is now recognized as Mecca of independent film festival of Asia and the widest window of avant-garde cinema around the world. JIFF has highlighted the unique voices of independent spirit by presenting the various, meaningful, and contemporary cinematic language to the audience for last 14 years. Since 2000, a number of new, rising filmmakers have been introduced to the world stage by JIFF and it resulted in that the awardees of JIFF have been critically acclaimed by international film festivals scene.
