Lim Jeong-Hee (Seoul, Güney Kore 17 Mayıs 1981 doğumlu), JYP Entertainment'e 2005 yılında Güney Koreli bir R & B ve Pop sanatçısı adı altında girdi. 2005 yılı 5. Tayland Pattaya Müzik Festivali, onun için yabancı müzik endüstrisinde önemli performanslarından biri oldu. Son performanslarından biri 2008 New York Madison Square Garden JYP TOUR oldu.

Lim Jeong-Hee, ateşli bir pop müziği hayranı ve sayısız LP müzik koleksiyonu olan babasının müzik ortamında büyüdü. Çocukluğunda piyano çalmayı öğrenmeye başladı ve klasik müzik ile eğitim gördü. Klasik müzik okumuş olmasına rağmen pop müzik daha fazla ilgisini çekmişti.

Lisede Lim, Seoul Belediyesi tarafından düzenlenen gençler için bir şarkı yarışmasına katıldı ve büyük ödülü kazandı. Lim, Şarkı yarışmasında yarışıp ödülü aldıktan sonra deneyim kazanmak için pop müzik bölümünü okumak üzere üniversiteye girdi. O en büyük Kore pop yıldızı G.O.D ve Rain aynı şirkete imza attılar. Ancak Lim, televizyon, radyoda ve sokak müziği şovunda daha ünlüdür.

Biography

Lim Jeong-Hee (born May 17, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean R&B and Pop artist that debuted in 2005 under JYP Entertainment. One of her notable performances in 2005 was the 5th Pattaya Music Festival in Thailand, which helped promote and expose her to the foreign music industry. One of her last performances was at the 2008 JYP TOUR in Madison Square Garden, New York.

Lim Jeong-Hee grew up in a musical environment, in which her father was an ardent fan of pop music and a collector of countless music LPs. She was educated with classical music in her childhood, beginning with learning to play the piano. Despite this, as she grew up, she gained more interest in pop music rather than the classical music she had studied.

In high school, Lim participated in a song contest for teens held by Seoul City and won the grand prize. The experience of competing in the song contest and winning the top prize led Lim to enter college to study popular music. She is signed with the same management agency as some of the biggest Korea pop stars, Rain and G.O.D.. However, Lim is more famous on the street music scene than on television or the radio.
