Hwajinpo (eski adı: Gapyoung) 7,2000 Pyoung (23,8032 m²) olan Doğu Denizi yanında olup, gölden 16 km yukarıda perde gibi çam ormanları bulunan bir yerdir. Limanında aşırı derecede fantastik kayalar ve taşlar vardır. Okyanusun sığ derinliği, uzun kum alanını mükemmel şekilde sahneler.



Sonbahar ve kış mevsiminde göçmen kuşlar göle gelir. Jookjung , Moyoun, Poongam, Gwebum, Jangpyoung, Nakan, Gapyoung, Yajong gibi çevredeki 8 güzel gölün manzarası var.


Şimdilerde ünlü kore pembe dizisi ''Gael Donghwa" sayesinde birçok ülkeden ziyaretçi buraya gelir.

Hwajinpo (old name: Gapyoung) is located next a 7,2000Pyoung(23,8032m²)wideamd 16Km round lake which is next to East Sea and, above that, a pine forest surround it like curtain. The port has extremely fantastic rocks and stones. The shallow depth of clear ocean makes long sand field excellent scenery.
Up until end of Japanese rule, it was for foreigners' summerhouses. During the Korean War, Kim, Ilsung's summerhouse was there and it is still there as a security park which gets a lot of visitors.

During the fall and winter, groups of seasonal birds come to the lake and enjoy their time there. Also the surrounding of the lake has eight great sceneries, such as Jookjung , Moyoun, Poongam, Gwebum, Jangpyoung, Nakan, Gapyoung, Yajong.

Now days, because of famous Korean soap opera "Gael Donghwa", many visitors are coming from all over the country.
