High1 Ski Resort



Gangwon Eyaleti'ndeki Jeongseon'da yer alan ve Aralik 2006'da açilan High1, 4,986,775 m2 alaninda 21km'yi asan yamaçlariyla gelismis bir kayak merkezidir. High1 Kayak Merkezi'nde 403 oda, iki kayak evi, iki dinlenme alani ve dagin zirvesinde bir gözlemevi bulunur. Toplam 18 yamaç vardir. Tüm yamaçlar en az 1.5km uzunlugundadir ve en uzun yamaç 4.2km'dir. Yamaçlarin ortalama genisligi 40m olup, neredeyse bir otoyoldaki 10 serit ile ayni genisliktedir.
Dünya çapinda herkesçe bilinen bir kayak merkezi olan High1'in resmi izni olan üç yamaci, Kayak Yarislari Dünya Kupasi için kullanilmistir. Ayrica High1, engelli müsteriler için özel yamaç ve tesis imkanlari saglamaktadir. 2008'de engelliler için, 13 ülkeden gelip IPC Uluslararasi Dünya Kupasi'na katilan 100'ü askin sporcuyu konuk etmistir.

High1 Ski Resort

Located in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province and opened in December 2006, "High1" ski resort features over 21km of slopes within a 4,986,775㎡ area. The ski grounds include 403 rooms in the resort hotel, two ski houses, two resting areas, and an observatory at the top of the mountain. There are 18 slopes in High1 resort. All of the slopes are at least 1.5km in length, while the longest slope stretches for 4.2km. The average width of the slopes is 40m, which is almost the same width as 10 lanes in a motor way.
High1 was admitted as a globally scaled ski location, with three slopes officially authorized to be used for the World Cup Ski Competition. Furthermore, High1 contains special slopes and facilities for disabled patrons. In 2008, the High1 ski resort hosted over 100 athletes from 13 countries who participated in the IPC international World Cup for the disabled.
