Gail Köyü kanatları açılmış turnayı andırarak güzel bir manzara sunumaktadır. Bu yüzden köy, "Turnaların Yuvası" olarak bilinmektedir.

Köyün kuzeyinde yer alan ve güneye bakan Sugok Evi, dedesi Gwon Bo anısına (16 yıl Joseon Hanedanı Kral Jeongjo'nun hükümdarlığı zamanında) 1792 yılında Gwon Jo tarafından yaptırılmıştır.

Kapıdan girdiğinizde geniş bir bahçe ve Sarangchae ( erkek kışlası) bulursunuz. Sarangchae arkasında güneybatıya bakan Anchae yer alır. Bu iki bina birlikte kare bir düzendedir. Avlunun solunda "Iljijae" adında güneye bakan müstakil bir ev bulunur. Anchae'nin sağında hafifçe yükseltilmiş zemin üzerinde bulunan bir tapınak vardır. Bu mimari özellikler Joseon Hanedanlığı'ndan gelen tipik üst sınıf evlerinin özelliklerini gösterir.

Gail Village boasts a beautiful landscape that reminds one of a crane with its wings spread out, so the village has been known as the "Nest of Cranes". Located to the north of the village, the southward-facing Sugok House was built by Gwon Jo in 1792 (16 years into the reign of King Jeongjo from the Joseon Dynasty) to honor the memory of his grandfather Gwon Bo.

When you enter the gate, you will find a spacious yard and the Sarangchae, or men's quarters. Behind the Sarangchae lies the southwest-facing Anchae, or inner quarters, and the two buildings are situated together in a square layout. To the left of the yard is a detached house named Iljijae, which faces south. There is a shrine located on slightly elevated ground to the right of the Anchae. These architectural features display the typical housing style of upper-class homes from the Joseon Dynasty.
