Güney Kore'de Eskrim

Güney Kore'de eskrim favori bir spor olmuştur. Güney Kore'de eskrim yıllar boyu sevilen bir spor olmuştur ve bu turistlerin ilgisini çeker. Mümkün olan en geniş anlamda, eskrimde silah, bıçaklama veya doğrudan elle manipüle yerine vurulur bu da spor severlere keyif verir. Güney Kore'de eskrimi zevk dışında ziyaretçilerle paylaşır ve ülkeye turizm için yeni bir lezzet ekler. Güney Kore'de eskrim Avrupa'dan farklı olarak dövüş sporu olarak kabul edilir.
Eskrim her modern Olimpiyat Oyunları'nda yer verilen dört spordan biridir.
Terim olarak Eskrimin anlamı ''Savunma Sanatı'' olarak da bilinmektedir.
2003 yılında Türkiye'den gönderilen eskrim temsilcimiz Kıvanç Dinçsalman Güney Kore'de ikinci olmuştur.

Fencing in South Korea

Fencing in South Korea has been a favorite sport for years and attracting travelers to enjoy the game during their trip to this country. In the broadest possible sense, fencing which is the art and science of armed combat involving cutting, stabbing, or bludgeoning weapons directly manipulated by hand, rather than shot or thrown has been giving pleasure to sports lovers of this country. Apart from enjoying the various tourist attractions of this country, Fencing in South Korea as a favorite sport has its own charm and enjoyment to share with the visitors or to add a new flavor to their tour to this country.
Though in modern common usage, fencing tends to refer particularly to European schools of swordsmanship and to the modern Olympic sport that has evolved out of them, South Korea has its own place for this sport which is also regarded as one of the prominent martial arts. Fencing is one of the four sports that have been featured at every modern Olympic Games.
