Google Releases List of Top Trending Searches of South Korea in 2013

Google 2013 Yılında Güney Kore'de En Çok Aranan İsimlerin Listesini Yayınladı

2013 biterken Google geçtiğimiz yıl Güney Kore'de en çok aranılan kelimelerin listesini yayınladı. Popüler diziler, şarkılar ve ünlüler sürpriz olmadan listede yer aldı.

En çok aranan kelimelerde ikinci PSY 'Gentleman' oldu. Onu atlet Ryu Hyu Jin, 'The Sun of My Master' dizisi ve oyuncu Park Si Hoo takip etti. PSY'ın diğer popüler şarkısı Gangam Style 8 numarada yer alırken onu Clara ve Crayon Pop takip etti.

En çok aranan diziler listesi; bir numara 'The Sun of My Master' olurken 'Reply 1994' dizisi onu takip etti. Varyete şovu 'Infinite Challenge', 'Heirs', 'The Book of the House Gu', 'School 2013', 'Aurora Princess', 'Good Doctor', 'Grandpas Over Flowers' ve 'Real Man' listedeki diğer dizi ve programlar oldular.

Müzik listesinini lideri PSY Gentleman oldu ve bu şarkı tüm trend listelerinde iki numarada yer aldı. 'Gangam Style', 'Bounce', 'Bar Bar Bar', 'Gangbuk Gentelman', 'Now', 'Spring Spring Spring', 'What's Your Name', 'Hello' ve 'Growl' listedeki diğer şarkılar oldu.

Yılın en çok aranan ikinci ismi geri dönüşünden sonraki skandalı ile oyuncu Park Si Hoo oldu. Seksi model ve oyuncu Clara 4. oldu. Eğlenceli şarkı ve dansları ile yeni grup Crayon Pop 5. oldu.

As 2013 is coming to a close, Google collected data to see which phrases were the most searched for in the country of South Korea throughout this past year. Unsurprisingly, many hit dramas, songs, and celebrities made the list. Check out the categories and the top ten searches in each one below!


In the overall trending search items, Psy's "Gentleman" made the list at number two. Following Psy were athlete Ryu Hyun Jin, drama 'The Sun of My Master,' and actor Park Si Hoo. Another one of Psy's hit songs "Gangnam Style" made the list at number eight, followed by Clara and Crayon Pop!


Everyone loves to go home after a long day and settle down for some nightly bonding time with your television! Which dramas or variety programs made the list of top 2013 searches in the TV category? First was the smash drama hit 'The Sun of My Master,' followed by retro drama 'Reply 1994,' then variety program 'Infinite Challenge.' The next ones in rank were 'Heirs,' 'The Book of the House of Gu,' 'School 2013,' 'Aurora Princess,' 'Good Doctor,' 'Grandpas Over Flowers,' and 'Real Men'!

In the music category, Psy's "Gentleman" unsurprisingly topped the list, considering the song ranked #2 in all trending search items of the year! Following was his other song "Gangnam Style," which had also made the all-inclusive list. Following were "Bounce," "Bar Bar Bar," "Gangbuk Gentleman," "Now," "Spring Spring Spring," "What's Your Name," "Hello," and "Growl."

In the most searched names of 2013, actor Park Si Hoo came in second place due to his scandal and eventual return to work as an actor. Sexy model and actress Clara came into the spotlight this year, ranking in fourth. Following in fifth was the viral group Crayon Pop, who will surely have more fun dances and songs for their fans next year.

nother celebrity couple has emerged with the start of the new year as 'Dispatch' has released their exclusive report just now, announcing that they've captured Lee Seung Gi and Girls' Generation's YoonA enjoying several dates!

The photos they've released are from October 8th, 2013 when Lee Seung Gi returned from his Japanese concert. According to the media outlet, after returning from Japan, the singer was spotted heading to an apartment in Samsungdong, which is where he picked up YoonA. The two then headed off to the Han River area where they enjoyed an hour long date. Seung Gi then dropped the female idol off at her home and she was reportedly seen carrying a shopping bag, which contained a gift that Seung Gi had bought for her in Japan.

The two are said to have started seeing one another back in September and have been growing in love for 4 months now, dating in the utmost secret.

In addition to this date, 'Dispatch' reports that they've spotted the two together on October 13th, 22nd, as well as several dates in November.

Lee Seung Gi had mentioned YoonA being his ideal type since a long while back, and was especially teased for it when he hosted 'Strong Heart', adding credibility to the report of the two dating.

SM Entertainment commented to Osen, "The two are in the beginning stages of getting to know each other."

Lee Seung Gi's reps also stated, "Lee Seung Gi and YoonA are carefully meeting one another... We don't know exactly when the two started seeing each other, but we can say that they're in the beginning stages... Please watch over the two kindly."

TS Entertainment artists shared their New Year greetings via the company’s official YouTube channel. Artists under the company include Secret, B.A.P, hip hop duo Untouchable and actress Han Soo Yeon.

Girl group Secret’s message for fans was, “Hello everyone. It’s already 2014! This year we are planning to repay your love with more activities and performances. We have prepared our heartsfor you (Hyosung waves paper heart at the camera). We’ll work harder this year to repay the love that you have given us. We hope you’ll be able to achieve what we want to this year. Happy New Year!” Secret released their fourth mini-album, “Letter from Secret,” in April 2013, and came back with a single, “I Do I Do,” in early December.

6-member boy group B.A.P released two mini-albums in 2013, “One Shot” in February and “Bad Man” in August. In their video, they greeted BABYs, saying, “Hello, we are B.A.P! Yessir! It’s already 2014. Hip hop duo Untouchable recorded their message in a recording studio, “Hello, Happy New Year! It’s the Year of the Horse. Run towards your dreams! Fighting!” Untouchable’s members Sleepy and The Action enlisted in the army in 2011, and were discharged from service in May this year. They came back in November with their fourth mini album, “Trip,” with the title track,“Vain.”

Actress Han Soo Yeon’s message was, “I hope your hopes and dreams are fulfilled this year. I want to work hard this year and spend it without any regrets. Don’t forget me, Han Soo Yeon, and please continue to support me. Stay healthy and happy. Happy New Year!” She appeared in KBS 2TV daily sitcom “Remaining Love,” as well as the movie “Running Man.”

Cha Seung Won’s Son, Cha No Ah, Acquitted from Sexual Assault Charges

Cha Seung Won'un oğlu Cha No Ah, Cinsel İstismar Suçundan Aklandı

Geride bıraktığımız 2013 yılının Ağustos ayında oyuncu Cha Seung Won'un oğlu olan profesyonel oyuncu Cha No Ah, 19 yaşındaki lise öğrencisine cinsel saldırıda bulunması nedeniyle suçlandı. Cha No Ah'ın suçu reddetmesinin üzerine, cinsel istismar suçundan aklandı.

Tahkikat yapılmasıyla adını temize çıkardıktan sonra, 31 Aralık tarihinde Cha No Ah'ın masum olduğu anlaşıldı.

Temsilci Star News'e " polisin soruşturmasından sonra Cha No Ah, yetersiz delil nedeniyle suçsuz bulundu." diye belirtti.

Temsilciye göre davacı ve Cha No ah ablaşmaya varmamış gibi gözüküyor. Temsilci "Sadece davacı ve Cha No Ah anlaşmaya varmadığından değil, ayrıca iddianın doğruluğunu ispatlayacak delil olmadığından dolayı Cha No Ah aklandı" dedi.

Back in August of 2013, pro-gamer Cha No Ah, son of actor Cha Seung Won, was charged for sexually assaulting a 19-year-old high school student. After denying the charges, Cha No Ah has been acquitted of the sexual assault charges.

On December 31, the prosecution ruled Cha No Ah innocent of the charges after conducting its investigation and hereby clearing his name from a bad rap.

A representative of the prosecution stated to Star News, “After police investigation, the prosecution Cha No Ah was acquitted of the charges due to nonsufficient evidence.”

According to the prosecution, the plaintiff and Cha No Ah did not settle on an agreement. The representative stated, “Not only did the plaintiff and Cha not settle, but there was no sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation; thus the charges were cleared.”
