EXO's D.O. to join military in July

EXO’dan D.O. Temmuz Ayında Orduya Katılacak

Yönetim ajansı perşembe günü, popüler erkek grup EXO üyesi D.O’nun Temmuz ayında orduya katılarak ilerlemekte olan eğlence kariyerini beklemeye alacağını belirtti.

Gerçek adı Do Kyung-soo olan 26 yaşındaki D.O., SM Entertainment’a göre zorunlu askerlik hizmetini yerine getirmek için 1 Temmuz’da askere gidecek.

SM, "D.O., Xiumin’in 7 Mayıs’ta ilk EXO üyesi olarak yaptığı askerlik hizmetine başladıktan sonra mümkün olan en kısa sürede ulusal savunma görevini yerine getirmek istedi." dedi.

SM ayrıca, D. O.'nun askere alınma sahnesinin, düşük profilli olma isteğine uygun olarak basına açıklanmayacağını söyledi.

Yetkili, "D.O., askerliğinin sessiz bir etkinlik olmasını istiyor. İstekleri bakımından, askerliğinin tam yeri ve zamanı açıklanmayacak ve özel bir tören düzenlenmeyecek." dedi.

2012'deki ilk çıkışından bu yana EXO, müzik ve dans performansı ile küresel ün kazandı. Grup kariyerinin yanı sıra Do, en son 2018 filmi "Swing Kids" filminde ana rolü oynayan bir TV ve sinema oyuncusu olarak sağlam bir rol sergiledi.

İki üyenin geçici olarak ayrılmasıyla birlikte, EXO'nun diğer üyelerin de 20 aylık zorunlu askerlik hizmetini tamamlamaları gerekeceğinden tam dizilişini geri alması yıllar alabilir.

D.O., a member of the popular boy band EXO, will join the military in July, putting his flourishing entertainment career on hold, his management agency said Thursday.

The 26-year-old, whose real name is Do Kyung-soo, will enlist in the Army on July 1 to fulfill his mandatory military service, according SM Entertainment.

"D.O. wanted to fulfill his duty of national defense as soon as possible after Xiumin started his military service on May 7 as the first EXO member to do so," SM said.

SM also said the scene of D.O.'s enlistment will not be disclosed to the press in accordance with his wish to keep it low profile.

"D.O. wants the enlistment to be a quiet event. In respect of his wish, the exact location and time of his enlistment will not be disclosed and no special ceremony will be held," it said.

Since its debut in 2012, EXO earned wild global fame with its stylish music and dance performance. On the sidelines of the band career, Do also carved out a solid presence as an TV and movie actor, having played, most recently, the main role in the 2018 film "Swing Kids."

With the temporary departure of two members, it may take years for EXO to reclaim its full lineup as the other members will also be required to complete the 20-month mandatory military service.

2PM's Chansung begins military service

2PM Chansung Askere Başladı

K-pop erkek grubu 2PM'den Chansung, salı günü zorunlu askerlik görevi için orduya katıldı.

Grup, Twitter'da açılış kampına girmeden önce Chansung’un bir görüntüsünü yayınladı ve diğer üç üyeyle- Jun K, Nichkhun ve Taecyeon- veda etti.

29 yaşındaki şarkıcı, Gyeonggi Eyaleti, Yeoncheon'da beş haftalık temel eğitimin ardından 20 aylık görevine başladı.
Chansung, askerliğe katılan grubun son üyesi, Jun, K, Wooyoung ve Junho ise aktif hizmette görev alıyor.

Taecyeon geçen ay görevini bitirdi, Nichkhun 2009'da Tayland’da anavatanındaki zorunlu askerlik hizmetinden muaf tutuldu.

2006'da popüler sitcom "Durdurulamaz Yüksek Tekme" de aktör olarak çıkışından sonra, Chansung 2008 yılında 2PM ile şarkı kariyerine başladı. 2017 yılında hit TV dizilerinde "Queen for Seven Days" ve geçen yıl "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" dizisinde rol aldı.

Chansung of boy band 2PM enlisted in the Army for his mandatory military service Tuesday.

The group posted on Twitter an image of Chansung, who got a buzz cut before entering boot camp, with three other members -- Jun. K, Nichkhun and Taecyeon -- bidding farewell.

The 29-year old singer started his 20-month duty following five weeks of basic training in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

He is the last member of the six-piece group joining the military, with Jun. K, Wooyoung and Junho on active service. Taecyeon was discharged last month, while Thai Nichkhun was exempted from compulsory military service in his homeland in 2009.

After debuting in 2006 as an actor on the popular sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick," Chansung started his singing career with 2PM in 2008. He played a supporting role in hit TV dramas "Queen for Seven Days" in 2017 and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" last year.

iKON's leader, producer B.I departs band on drug allegations

iKON'un Lideri, Yapımcı B.I Uyuşturucu İddiaları Üzerine Gruptan Ayrıldı

K-pop erkek grubu iKON'un şarkı yazarı lideri B.I, üç yıl önce yasaklanan uyuşturucuları satın aldığı iddiasıyla Çarşamba günü gruptan ayrılarak grubun yönetim ajansı YG Entertainment'a yeni bir darbe vurdu.

Günün erken saatlerinde yerel bir raporda, gerçek adı Kim Han-bin olan 23 yaşındaki üyenin 2016 yılında LSD hapları aldığını ve polisin işlemle ilgili işaretler tespit ettiğini ancak bir soruşturma başlatmadığını söyledi.

Rapor ayrıca, B.I'nin bir uyuşturucu satıcısıyla yeniden yapılandırılan mobil mesajlaşma sohbetinin görüntülerini yayınladı ve "Ben  dahi olmak istediğim için bunu yapıyorum." dediği görüldü.

İddialar yayıldıkça, B.I iKON'dan ayrılacağını bildiren bir Instagram mesajı gönderdi.
“Hatalı davrandığım için alçakgönüllülükle tövbe ediyorum ve takımdan gruptan ayrılıyorum.  Hayranlarım ve diğer (iKON) üyelerden içten özür diledim.” dedi.

Ayrıca uyuşturucu aldığını itiraf etti.
“Aslında ilgimi çekmemesi gereken bir şeye güvenmek istedim, çünkü bir zamanlar böyle acı ve ıstırap çekiyordum” dedi.

B.I hayranlarından ve diğer altı grup arkadaşından özür dileyerek " ama onları bile kullanamadım çünkü dehşete düştüm ve korktum " dedi.

iKON, hipnotik 2018 mega hit şarkısı "Love Scenario" ile tanınıyor. B. I. ortaklaşa şarkı besteledi ve grubun müzik prodüksiyonunda en aktif takım üyesi olarak sözleri yazdı.
Ayrıca iKON'un albümlerinin çoğu için birçok parça besteledi ve yazdı.

B.I.'nin ayrılışı, zaten bir polis soruşturması sırasında Mart ayında BIGBANG'dan ayrılan Seungri'yi içeren Seungri'yi içeren büyük bir uyuşturucu ve seks videosu skandalı olan YG'ye ağır bir darbe daha vurdu.

B.I, the songwriting leader of K-pop boy band iKON, left the band on Wednesday on allegations that he bought prohibited drugs three years ago, dealing another crushing blow to the band's management agency YG Entertainment.

Earlier in the day, a local report said the 23-year-old, whose real name is Kim Han-bin, bought LSD pills in 2016 and that the police detected signs of the transaction but did not launch an investigation.

The report also released images of B.I's reconstructed mobile messenger conversation with a drug dealer, which showed him saying, "(I) do it because I want to be a genius."

As the allegations spiraled, B.I posted an Instagram message announcing that he will leave iKON.

"I humbly repent of my wrongdoing and seek to leave the team ... I bow deeply to fans and other (iKON) members in sincere apology," he said.

He also admitted to the drug purchase allegation.

"I did in fact want to rely on a thing that I shouldn't even have had interest in, because I was once in such pain and agony," he said.

"But I couldn't even use them because I was terrified and afraid," B.I said, offering an apology to his fans and the six other bandmates.

iKON is best known for its hypnotic 2018 megahit song "Love Scenario." B.I jointly composed the song and wrote the lyrics as the team member most active in the band's music production.

He also composed and wrote many tracks for most of iKON's albums.

B.I's departure marks another heavy blow to YG, which is already reeling from a massive drug and sex video scandal involving Seungri, who departed from BIGBANG in March as he went through a police interrogation into the case.

Yang Hyun-suk, the head of YG, himself is also facing allegations of providing sex services to potential foreign investors.

YG offered an apology over B.I's drug allegations and ended its contract with him.

"Kim Han-bin is holding himself heavily responsible for the repercussions of this issue," YG said in a statement.

"Taking this seriously, (YG) decided on his departure from the team and the termination of his exclusive contract."

"YG is deeply feeling a sense of responsibility in managing its associated artists," it said.

YG Entertainment chief offers to resign over ballooning drug allegations

Güney Koreli menajerlik şirketi YG Entertainment'ın başkanı, sanatçılarına yönelik artan uyuşturucu iddiaları nedeniyle cuma günü istifasını sundu.

BIGBANG'i yöneten YG Entertainment'ın CEO'su Yang Hyun-suk, “Bugün itibariyle tüm ünvanlarımı ve görevlerimi YG Entertainment'a bırakmak istiyorum. Umarım sevgili YG sanatçılarım ve hayranları bana kırılmazlar." dedi.

Son zamanlarda, şirket yönetimi altındaki ünlü şarkıcıların çoğu bir dizi skandala karıştığı için ateş altında.

The head of South Korean entertainment powerhouse YG Entertainment offered to resign Friday over rising drug allegations against its artists.

"As of today, I want to put down all my titles and duties at YG Entertainment," said Yang Hyun-suk, CEO and chief producer of YG Entertainment, which manages BIGBANG. "I hope that my beloved YG artists and their fans are not harmed by me."

Recently, the company has been under fire as many of the big-name singers under its management have been embroiled in a series of scandals.

B.I, the songwriting leader of K-pop boy band iKON, left the band on Wednesday on allegations that he bought prohibited drugs three years ago.

Yang is suspected of having tried to cover up the case with the help of Lee Seung-hoon of YG's boy band WINNER.
