Dal 1887, formerly Baeng & Bbang, is an Italian restaurant located in Sancheong-dong that is well known for its pasta. It takes its name from the Italian word dal, meaning "since", because the restaurant has been in operation since 1887. Also, the site of the restaurant carries historical significance as the surrounding neighborhood is full of hanok architecture (traditional Korean houses). The secret to its incredible taste is its faithfulness in only using the finest of ingredients, avoiding the use of any instant seasonings.
