Cross Gene (Korece: 크로스진) Güney Kore’de kurulmuş 6 erkek üyeden oluşan karma bir gruptur (karma: farklı milletten üyesi var). Amuse Korea’ya bağlı grup Güney Koreli, Çinli ve Japon üyelerden oluşuyor. Timeless adlı mini albümle çıkış yaptılar. Gaon haftalık albüm sıralamsında Haziran 2012’de 8. sıraya çıktılar.

Geçmişleri

Çıkış Öncesi
26.06.2012 Amuse Korea Eğlence Şirketi Güney Koreli, Çinli, Japon üyelerden oluşan karma bir grup çıkacağını duyurdu. Üyelerden Shin Won-ho çeşitli dizi ve reklamlarda oynamış, “7. Asya Model ve Festival Ödülleri”nde “CF Model Award” ödülünü almıştır. Grubun adının anlamına gelince, şirket bu adın arkasındaki anlamı “mükemmel bir grup oluşturacak her bir ülkenin üstün genlerinin karışımı” olarak nitelemiştir. Grupta 3 Güney Koreli, 2 Çinli, 1 Japon üye vardır.

2012-Timeless: Begins

7.Haziran’da ilk gösterilerini Ax Korea konser salonunda gerçekleştirdiler. İlk mini albümleri Timeless’i çıkardılar. Timelesss: Begins, Gaon haftalık albüm sıralamsında 9. olarak başlayıp sonraki hafta sekizinciliğe yükseldi.

Grubun tanıtımı Japonya’da da yapılacaktır.

Cross Gene (Korean: 크로스진) is a six-member multinational boy band based in South Korea. Signed under Amuse Korea, the group consists of South Korean, Chinese and Japanese members. They released their debut mini-album Timeless: Begins in June 2012, which peaked at number eight on the Gaon weekly album chart.

History

Pre-debut
On May 26, 2012, Amuse Korea Entertainment revealed that they would be debuting a multinational group, consisting of South Korean, Japanese and Chinese members. Among them was Shin Won-ho, an actor who appeared in television dramas and advertisements, the latter of which earned him the CF Model Award at the 7th Asian Model Festival Awards. The entertainment company explained the meaning behind the group's name, stating that the group would "cross the superior genes of each country to create one perfect group". Cross Gene consists of three South Korean members, two Chinese members, and one Japanese member.

2012–present: Timeless: Begins

On June 7, the group held their first showcase at the Ax Korea concert hall. They released their first mini-album Timeless: Begins on June 8. Ten days later, a limited edition version of the mini-album was released. Timeless: Begins debuted at number nine on the Gaon weekly albums chart, and peaked at number eight the following week.

Cross Gene is scheduled to promote in Japan as well.
