Albümler Güney Kore’nin yurt çapındaki turlarında derlendi ve birlikte çıkardıkları bu albümde Jung Dan, Park Wan Kyu ve Lee Sung Wook gibi önceki Boohwal vokalistlerine de yer verilmiştir. Aynı zamanda single albüm şarkısı Ghasseumaae Keurin Suhng (Vision In Mind) ve Moosa Baekdohngsuu OST , The Only Road diye de isimlendirilen, ilk müzikalleri New Roly Poly ortaya çıktı..

Biyografi
Sahneye ilk çıkıştan önce (1980-2005)

Chung Güney Kore, Seoul’de doğdu. Kwanak High School’dan mezun olduğu, Sunmoon Üniversitesinde Dil ve Edebiyat okuduğu fakat okulu bıraktığı bilinmektedir. Bugünlerde Korea Art School’a devam etmektedir. Lisedeyken Navigator isimli bir grubun solistliğini yaptı. Üniversitede vokalist ve gitarist olarak görev aldı ve diğer adıyla Block Driver grubunun altında Hongik University, Rollingstones, Koda, Freebird ve daha pek çok klüpte performans gösterdi.. Kore Ordusunda görev yaparken kendi rock grubunu kurdu. Ordudan terhis edilince müzik kariyerine Güney Kore’nin yaşayan efsane grubu Boohwal’a katılana kadar tek başına devam etti.. Profesyonel müzik hayatına böylelikle başlamış oldu..

Müzisyenlikteki Motivasyonu

Bir ropörtajında Chung, Queen’in “Dont Stop Me” performansının kendisinde dehşet verici bir etki bıraktığını ve bunun kendisini müzisyen olmaya başlaması için motive ettiğini söylemişti. Gitar, bass, davuldaki deneyimin nasıl inanılmaz olduğunu ve vokalle beraber inanılmaz bir ses yarattığını anlattı..

Giriş sınavı

2004 te akerliğini bitirince Chung bir kayıt stüdyosuna besteci olarak girdi. Bana kalırsa böylelikle kariyerini daha ileriye taşımaya hazırlandı. Buradan bas gitarist olarak Seo Jae-hyuk’a tavsiye edildi ve Boohwal’ın giriş sınavına önderlik yaptı. Aynı zamanda grup yeni vokalistini arıyordu. Bir radyo programında Boohwal’ın lideri KimTae Won ses sınavında Chung Dong Ha'nın 고해 / Gohae / Confession isimli Kore’nin çok bilinen bir şarkısını nasıl güzel söylediğini ve yeni vokal olarak olarak seçildiğini anlattı.

Rock grubu Boohwal’ın 9. vokalisti olarak sahneye ilk çıkış

2005de Chung 9. vokalist olarak kabul edildi. Chung’un adı şimdi Boohwal vokalistleri Kim jong-Seo, Lee Seung-chul, Kim Jae-ki, Kim Jae-hee, Park Wan-kyu, Kim Ki-yeon, Lee Sung-wook ve Jung Dan ila aynı listede yer alıyor. Sahneye ilk çıktığı albüm Seojeong onun müzisyen olarak kariyerinin başlangıcıdır.

Boohwal(2009)

2009 başlarken , şubat ayında Boohwal’ın 25. şarkı kitabı piyasaya çıktı. Mayısda Chung “Aaeburrlae” isimli şarkıyla öne çıktı ve temmuzda Kore’nin O.S.T yayın istasyonu olan MBC’ nin draması Chinku, Urideulujjeonseul’e katıldı. Ağustosta Boohwal’ın yeni resmi albümü 25th Anniversary: Retrospect l çıktı. Yeni albümdeki Thodashi Sarangii ve OZ isimli parçaların sözlerinin bir kısmını o yazdı. Chiku’ drama OST’de The Day isimli parçayı besteledi.. Chung, “Hyun jin-young Go Project” isimli bir projeyi gerçekleştirmek için art performance academy‘e vokal çalıştırıcısı olarak katıldı. Akademi, Koreli yayın istasyonu SBS tarafından kuruldu. Chung, ulusal turlarda ilk defa performans gösterdi ve çeşitli medya organlarında göründü. Bunu takiben Chung, Boohwal ile 2009 Mnet Asian müzik ödüllerinde en iyi rock grubu ödülüne layık görüldü ve aynı zamanda Kore Kültürel ve Eğlence Ödüllerinde en iyi 10 şarkıcı arasında aday gösterildi..

İlerlemek (2010- günümüz)

2010da Chung’un vokalist olarak Boohwal ile olan kontratı uzatıldı. Şubat ayında Live-H adındaki müzik programına başladı. Show, Kyung-in TV ve Arirang TV’nin ortak yapımıdır. Chung programı , “Hidden Ace” adlı ayda bir kez belirlenen program için özel bir köşeden yönetiyor. Martta 25the Anniversary : Retrospect II piyasaya çıktı ve Chung tezahürat ve destek amacıyla 2010 FIFA Dünya Kupası için yapılan The Shouts Of Reds United Korea adlı albüme katıldı. Nisanda Daehanminguk 1% film OST’nin You and I adlı parçaya katıldı.. Temmuzda ARGO adlı oyununun OST’ne Saessangwiiroe adlı şarkıyla katıldı..

Rock grubu Boohwal

Boohwal 1986da kurulan Güney Koreli bir rock grubudur.Bugünkü üyeleri Kim Tae-won, Seo Jae-hyuk, Chae Jae-min ve Chung Dong-ha’dır. Chung Boohwal’ın en genç üyesidir. Grubun en son çıkan albümleri 25th Anniversary: Retrospect 2 bölümden oluşmaktadır, sırasıyla Ağustos 2009 ve Mart 2010 da piyasaya çıkmıştır..

Hyun jin-young Go Projesi

Chung “Hyun Jin-young Go Project” isimli projeye vokalist çalıştırıcısı olarak katıldı. 2009 yılında ünlü bir Koreli hip hop şarkıcı –dansçı –yapımcı tarafından kurulan bir akademidir. Proje, projeye katılanlar için tam zamanlı müzik çalışması yapılacağını ilan etti. Projenin amacı müzik öğrencilerine yardım etmek ve onların zorlu yollardan geçerek müzik kariyerlerinde ilerlemelerini sağlamaktır..

Chung, Dong-ha (정동하 Jeong, Dong-ha) (born April 17, 1980) is a Korean singer. He is the current vocalist in Korean rock band named Boohwal and a professor of vocals major at Kyungbok College. In 2010, his vocalist contract within Boohwal was renewed. Currently he is enrolling in Korea Art College.
Following the official 10, 11, 12, 13th albums of Boohwal, Seojeong, Saarang, 25th Anniversary: Retrospect, "Purple Wave" respectively, the single albums Geuttaegajigeumiramyeon and collaboration album Nuguhnasaaranguhlhaanda was released. The albums were compiled on the road to nationwide South Korean tour and the collaboration album includes several former Boohwal vocals Jung Dan, Park Wan-kyu, and Lee Sung Wook. Also single album song Ghasseumaae Keurin Suhng (Vision In Mind) and Moosa Baekdohngsuu O.S.T. called The Only Road, first musical "New Roly Poly" was released.

Biography

Before debut (1980-2005)

Chung was born in Seoul, South Korea. It is reported that Chung graduated from Kwanak High School and studied Language and Literature at Sunmoon University but dropped out. Currently he is enrolling in Korea Art College. In high school, he was the vocal of a group named Navigator. At the university, he played vocal-guitar role in a space MHZ, and performed under the group alias Block Driver at clubs Hongik university Rollingstones, Koda, Freebird, and so on. While he was serving in the Korean Army, he formed his own rock band. After he was discharged from his military service, he worked on his music career on his own until he joined Boohwal, which is considered by many to be the living legend rock group in South Korea. He started his professional music career since then.

Motivation in musicianship

In an interview, Chung explains that a performance of "Don't Stop Me Now", by Queen, gave such an awe-inspiring impression that it motivated him to become a musician. He explains how amazed he was to experience guitar, bass, drums, and vocal cooperate to create such an amazing sound.

Audition

Completing military service on 2004, Chung entered into a recording studio of a composer he personally had friendship with and prepared his career further. From there he was recommended to bassist Seo, Jae-hyuk and was led to Bohwal's audition. At the time the band was in search of finding the new vocalist. In a radio show Boohwal's leader Kim, Tae-won talked about how, in the audition, he heard Chung, Dong-ha singing "고해/Gohae/Confession", which is one of well known classic Korean pop song, and was so amazed that he picked him as the new vocal at the spot.

After debut (2005-present)
Debut as the ninth vocalist of Rock Band Boowhal (2005)

In 2005, Chung was initiated as the ninth successor of the legacy of Boohwal vocalists. Chung's name now lists with Boohwal vocalists Kim Jong-seo, Lee Seung-chul, Kim Jae-ki, Kim Jae-hee, Park Wan-kyu, Kim Ki-yeon, Lee Sung-wook, and Jung, Dan. With his debut album Seojeong his career as a musician started.

Freshman of Boohwal (2006-08)

In 2006, Chung's second album aka Boohwal 11th Album Saarang was released. He participated in various drama OST's during years 2007, 2008.

Boohwal (2009)

Starting year 2009, on February, Boohwal 25th Song Book was released. On May, Chung featured on a song titled "Aaeburrlae", and on July, he participation in an O.S.T of Korean broadcasting station MBC's Drama Chinku, Urideuluijeonseul. On August, Boohwal's new official album 25th Anniversary: Retrospect I was released. In the new album he coauthored lyrics of songs named "Thodashi Saarangii", "OZ". In the O.S.T of Drama Chiku he participated in composing the song titled "The Day". Chung joined Korean broadcasting arts performance academy as a vocal trainer in a project called "Hyun Jin-young Go Project". The academy is instituted by the Korean broadcasting station SBS. He took his first step into performing in national tours and make appearance in various media broadcasts. Following that Chung, Dong-ha along with Boohwal received 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards as the nominee of Best Rock Award, as well as the nominee of Korean Cultural Entertainment Award's Top 10 Singers awards criteria.

Marching on (2010-present)

In 2010, Chung's vocalist contract within Boohwal was renewed. In February, he has been cast as the show host of a music program named "Live H" and started out with his constant appearance in the broadcasts. The show is co-produced by Kyung-in TV and Arirang TV. In the program Chung leads the corner named "Hidden Ace", which is a special corner for the program that is scheduled once a month. In March, 25th Anniversary: Retrospect II was released and Chung participated in cheer supporting album of 2010 FIFA World Cup called The Shouts Of Reds. United Korea. In April, he participated in OST of a movie called Daehanminguk 1% with a song titled "You and I". In July, he participated in OST of a game named ARGO with a song titled "Saessangwiiroe".

Rock Band Boowhal

Boohwal is the name of a South Korean rock band formed in 1986. Current members of Boohwal includes Kim Tae-won, Seo Jae-hyuk, Chae Jae-min and Chung Dong-ha. Chung currently plays role as the yougest member in Boohwal, presenting as much as fifteen years of age difference. The latest official album of the band 25th Anniversary: Retrospect has two parts, released on August 2009 and March 2010, respectively.

Hyun Jin-young Go Project

Chung joined the "Hyun Jin-young Go Project" as vocals trainer. An academia established by a famous Korean hip hop singer-dancer-producer in year 2009, the project has proclaimed to become full time music production session assets benefactor to those who are nominated through the project. The project's intent was to help students of music make breakthroughs in the tough to penetrate realm of career in musicianship
