Dağlık bir alanda bulunduğundan sıcaklıklar düşüktür ve sıcaklık farkı da fazladır. Bazı bölgelerinde ise güneş ışığı yetersizliği ve düşük sıcaklık yüzünden yılda 1 kere ürün alınır. Ocak ayı ortalama sıcaklığı 3.8, Ağustos ayı ise 27.3 derecedir. Yıllık sıcaklık 11 derecedir. Yıllık yağış miktarı 1310.8mm’dir.

Güzellik ve temizliği simgeleyen bir daire ile Bonghwa’yı anlatır. Mavi oval, toprağın verimliliğini ve bolluğunu simgeler. Üç dağ (Cheongnyangsan, Cheongoksan ve Munsusan) ile ilerleyen adam iddialı ruhu ve geleceğe uzanan Bonghwa insanlarını temsil eder.

Chunyangmok Ağacı



Yaşına rağmen dik duran, ilçe sakinlerinin gücünü ve sabrını simgeleyen bir çam ağacıdır.

Çiçeği (Dağ Manolyası)



Tüm ilçeye yayılmış, Mayıs ~ Ağustos aylarında açan beyaz renkli Dağ Manolyası, ilçe sakinlerinin masumiyetini ve güzel tabiatlarını simgeler.

Introduction

Bonghwa-county is a place of manners with a scholarly spirit and beautiful mountains. The population is 34,000 and there are 1-eup and 9-myeon. Since 83% of the area is an uncontaminated natural mountain forest, the natural view is spectacular and there are many special products. The famous mountains including Cheongnyang Mountain, which has been specially appointed as a provincial park, and other national treasures are scattered around the county.

Climate
As being located at mountainous area in land, the temperature is low compared to the latitude and temperature gap is big. In this mountainous area, there are some places that cannot raise two crops a year because of lacking daylight and low temperature. The average temperature of January is 3.8℃, and the average temperature of August is 27.3℃. The compound annual temperature is 11℃, and the annual precipitation is 1310.8mm.

Distributed in the whole county, blooms May~ August, the flower is white, symbolizing innocence and good nature of the county residents.

County Bird (Mountain Magpie)



The magpie symbolizes a good omen, and displays the progressive spirit and possibilities of the county residents.
