2005 yılında başlayan Jecheon Uluslararası Müzik ve Film Festivali (JUMFF), Jecheon şehrinin güzel manzaralarını belirlenen film ile göstermeyi, heyecan verici müzik eşliğinde tüm nesillere ve müzikal zevklere hitap etmeyi hedeflemektedir.

Ev sahibi Jecheon şehri Kore'de Chungcheongbuk eyaletinde şirin ve doğal bir şehirdir. Jecheon, gölü Kore manzara resimlerini andıran doğal güzelliğiyle Cheongpung eyaletinin en ünlüsü ve turistlerin uğrak mekanıdır. JUMFF'nin yarışma bölümü olan ''Bugün Dünya Müzik ve Film'' gününde bu yıl dünyanın dört bir yanından getirilen sekiz film sunulacaktır. Bağımsız müzik tarzları ve çağdaş şekildeki seçimleriyle jüri üyelerinin sekiz film arasından seçtiği iki seçkin film Büyük Ödül ve Jüri Büyük Ödülü ile ödüllendirilecek.

Diğer festival bölümleri ise Cheongpung Gölü kıyısında açık havada, müzik ve sinemanın çeşitli yönlerini tanıtacak bir dizi müzik gösterisidir. Jecheon Film Müziği Ödülü, Kore filmi ve müzik kültürü ile ilgili önemli etkilere sahip olan film müzisyenlerini onurlandırmaktadır ve Jecheon Film Müziği Akademisi, film müziği ile ilgili özelleştirilmiş bir eğitim için tasarlanmış bir programdır.


Dong-Jin bu yılın başlarında JUMFF'nin yeni başkanı seçildi onunla beraber tüm JUMFF personeli şimdi festival aracılığıyla neşe ve mutluluk vermek için elinden geleni yapıyor.

Launched in 2005, Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) strives to be both a celebration of film set in the beautiful landscapes of Jecheon City and exhilarating music shared and enjoyed by everyone of all generations and musical tastes.

The cozy and scenic host city, Jecheon, is located in Chungcheongbuk province in central Korea. Jecheon is most famous for Cheongpung-ho, a lake that captivates tourists with natural beauty that is reminiscent of traditional Korean landscape paintings. "World Music Film Today", JIMFF"s sole competition section, will present eight films from around the world this year. The jury members will award two outstanding films with the Grand Prize and Special Jury Prize among eight of the most contemporary selections related to music regardless of genre.

Other sections will introduce the various aspects of music cinema and a number of musical performances staged outdoors on the shores of Cheongpung Lake. The Jecheon Film Music Award honors film musicians who have had significant influence on Korean film and music culture and the Jecheon Film Music Academy is a program designed for specialized education about film music.

As Dong-Jin Oh has been inaugurated for JIMFF's new chairman in early this year, all JIMFF staff members are now doing our best to give you joy and happiness through the festival.
