Seoul’ün yaklaşık 485 metre güneyinde bulunan Goheung’taki Naro Uzay Merkezi çalışanları, 9 Temmuz’da fırlatılacak olan Kore Space Launch Vehicle-1 uzay aracının modelini fırlatma pistine yerleştirdiler. Güney Kore daha önce ilk defa KSLV-1 uzay aracının daha eski halini kullanarak uzaya uydu göndermeyi denemiş fakat başarılı olamamıştı.

Workers at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 485 kilometers south of Seoul, move a model of the Korea Space Launch Vehicle-1 to the launch pad on May 14 to practice for the actual launch on June 9. South Korea unsuccessfully attempted to send a satellite into space using an earlier version of the KSLV-1 in August 2009.
