Jeju Sahil Güvenlik ve Meclis Kavgaları için Bakanlar Kurulu Yasa Çıkardı
Kore Sahil Güvenlik yapısının Jeju Adası’ndaki bölgesel Sahil Güvenlik Merkezine katılması için, bakanlar kurulu toplandı ve yeni yasayı onayladı.
Şu anda Jeju ve Seogwipo’nun ada şehirlerindeki Sahil Güvenlik bölümleri, Bölgesel Güney Sahil Güvenlik Merkezi kapsamında. Bölgedeki deniz barışının korunmasını güçlendirmek için yeni kanunla bu bölümlerin, Jeju Bölge Merkezi’ne dahil edilmesi planlanıyor.
Devlet Başkanı Lee Myung-bak başkanlığında yapılan toplantıda, kayıt belgesinde sadece geçerli adresin gösterilmesi için de yeni Yerleşim Kayıtları Yasası onaylandı. Bu, borç ve krediyle ilgili anlaşmazlıklar olduğunda çok fazla kişisel bilgiyi önlemek için yapıldı.
Bakanlar kurulu, meclisteki fiziksel kavgaları önlemeyi amaçlayan bir yasayı da çıkardı. Ulusal Meclis Yasası altındaki bu yasa, oturuma katılan milletvekillerinin 5’te 3’ünden fazlası kabul ederse çıkacak. Yasa, meclis başkanının tek taraflı hakkını kısıtlamak için de bir yasa oylamaya çıkaracak.

The Cabinet met and approved a revised law Tuesday on the structure of the Korea Coast Guard calling for a regional Coast Guard headquarters on Jeju Island.
Currently, the Coast Guard chapters in the island’s cities of Jeju and Seogwipo fall under the Coast Guard’s South Regional Headquarters. The revision calls for incorporating those chapters into a new Jeju Regional Headquarters to strengthen maritime peacekeeping in the area.
The meeting chaired by President Lee Myung-bak also approved a revision to an enforcement decree of the Resident Registration Act to only have one current address listed on a resident registration card. This is to prevent exposure of too much personal information when concerning debt and loan disputes.
The Cabinet also passed a bill aimed at preventing physical scuffles in parliament. Under this revision to the National Assembly Act, certain bills can be designated as requiring swift parliamentary approval if more than three fifths of lawmakers attending the Assembly session give consent. The revision also restricts the Assembly speaker’s right to unilaterally put a bill to a vote.
