Güney Kore – Çin Stratejik Askeri Ortaklar?
Güney Kore Genelkurmay Personel Başkanı Jung Seung-jo, Çin Halk Kurtuluş Ordusu Genelkurmay Başkanı ile toplantı yapmak üzere 4 Haziran’da Pekin’e geldiğinde Çin askeri figürleri Dişi Fenghui ile karşılandı. Bu gezi Çin’e seyahat için giden bir askeri yetkilinin ilk kez askeri uçak kullanması ile oldu. İki ülke, stratejik ortaklığı askeri düzeyde işbirliğini güçlendirmek ve askeri komutanlar arasında bir telefon hattı kurmak için kabul etti. Başkan Park Geun-hye bu ay Çin’e resmi bir ziyaret yapacak.

South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Jung Seung-jo is greeted by Chinese military figures as he arrives in Beijing for a meeting with Fang Fenghui, chairman of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Staff, June 4. This trip was the first time a military plane was used for a military official to travel to China. The two countries agreed to strengthen their military cooperation to a strategic partnership level and to set up a hotline between military chiefs. President Park Geun-hye will make a state visit to China later this month.
