Güney Kore Başbakanı Chung Un-chan, Kuzey Kore ile yapılan deniz savaşının 8. yıldönümünde anma konuşması yaptı. Bu tören, 29 Haziran 2002 tarihinde, iki Kuzey Koreli devriye gemilerinin Güney’deki Yeonpyeong adasının batı sularına girmesiyle başlayan deniz çarpışmasında ölen 6 askeri anmak için düzenlenen ilk resmi tören oldu.
