Savcılık İntihar Nedenleri Üzerine Veritabanı Kuruyor
Savcılık, intiharları önleyici tedbirler oluşturmak amacıyla intihar nedenleri üzerine veritabanı kurmaya karar verdi.
Seoul Merkez Bölge Savcılığı, çarşamba günü savcılık, sağlık ve refah bakanlığı, toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği ve aile bakanlığı ve sivil gruplardan yaklaşık 25 yetkilinin bulunduğu bir toplantı düzenledi ve ülkede giderek artan intihar oranlarını azaltmanın yollarını tartıştı.
Toplantıdaki katılımcılar, kişinin intihar etme nedeninin incelenmemesinin, sadece cinayet vakası olduğunda odaklanılmasının şu anda düzenlenen intihar önleme politikalarını etkisiz hale getirdiği ve sınırlandığı sonucuna vardı.
Bu nedenle savcılık, intihar nedenleri üzerinde sistematik analiz sağlayabilen bir sistem kurmayı planlıyor.

The prosecution has decided to establish a database on the causes of suicides in order to produce effective preventive measures.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office held a meeting on Tuesday, bringing together 25 officials from the prosecution, health and welfare ministry, gender equality and family ministry and civic groups to discuss ways to reduce the country’s growing number of suicides.
At the meeting, the participants agreed that the country’s current suicide prevention policy is ineffective and limited as it does not look into what triggered a person to commit suicide, but rather only focuses on proving if the person was murdered or not.
Accordingly, the prosecution plans to establish a system that allows systematic analysis on the causes of suicides.
