Siyasi Gruplar, Genel Seçim Hazırlıklarını Hızlandırdı
Süreç hepsi için iyi gitmese de, siyasi partiler 11. Nisan genel seçimleri öncesinde hazırlıklarını hızlandırdı.
Yeni Yıl tatilinin hemen sonrasında adaylığını koyan parti adayları için bir inceleme komitesi oluşturmayı planlayan iktidardaki Büyük Ulusal Parti (BUP), birim üyelerini seçmede zorluk yaşıyor.
BUP Olağanüstü Hal Liderlik Komitesinin bazı üyeleri, eski Çevre Bakanı Yoon Yeo-joon’un inceleme komitesini yönetmesini istiyor. Planlanan komitenin parti dışından biri tarafından yönetilmesine karar verildi.
Acil Durum Liderlik Komitesi inceleme komitesinin üçte ikisini dışarıdan kişilerle doldurmaya karar verdi.
Ana muhalefet Demokratik Birleşmiş Parti (DBP), seçimler için düzenleme stratejileri ve kampanya taahhütlerinden sorumlu genel seçim planlama komitesini yönetmek için 4 dönem vekillik yapan Lee Mi-kyung’u belirledi. DBP aday adaylığı inceleme komitesinin başkanı gelecek hafta atanacak.

Political parties are ramping up preparations ahead of the April eleventh general elections, although the process is not going smoothly for all.
The ruling Grand National Party (GNP), which was planning to form a screening committee for nominating party candidates shortly after the Lunar New Year’s holiday, is having a difficult time selecting members for the body.
Some members of the GNP’s emergency leadership committee want former Environment Minister Yoon Yeo-joon to head the screening committee. The envisioned committee is set to be headed by a figure from outside the party.
The emergency leadership committee has decided it will fill more than two-thirds of the screening committee with outside figures.
The main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP) has appointed four-term lawmaker Lee Mi-kyung to head its general elections’ planning team that will be charged with devising strategies and campaign pledges for the elections. The head of the DUP’s candidate nomination screening committee will be appointed next week.
