Lee G. Kore için Geleceğin Parlak Olduğuna İnanıyor
Devlet Başkanı Lee Myung-bak, Güney Kore için yelken açma ve ulusal güce dayalı dünyaya doğru hareket etme zamanı olduğunu söyledi. Lee, su seviyesi yükseldiği zaman büyük bir geminin doğal olarak yüzdüğü ile ilgili bir atasözünü kullandı.
Başkan pazartesi günü yayınladığı yeni yıl mesajında, Güney Kore’nin sadece ekonomik açıdan gelişmiş bir ülke olmadığını, artık kültürel, spor ve çevresel alanlarda da bir güç merkezi olduğunu belirtti. Güney Kore’nin uluslararası toplumda önemli bir oyuncu haline geldiğini kaydetti.
Lee: ”Güney Kore halkı, devlet başkanı seçilen Park Geun-hye ile çok çalışırsa, tamamen ekonomik krizin üstesinden gelen ve karanlık tünelin sonundaki parlak ışığı gören ilk ülke olacak.”
Başkan, insanların kan, ter ve gözyaşları ile ulaştığı Güney Kore tarihinin gelişimi ve mucizelerinin gelecekte de devam edeceğine inandığını belirtti.

President Lee Myung-bak says that it’s time for South Korea to hoist a sail and move powerfully toward the world, based on its stronger national power. He cited an adage that a large ship naturally floats away when the water level rises.
The president said in his New Year’s message Monday that South Korea is not only an economically developed country now but also a powerhouse in the cultural, sports and environmental sectors. He noted that the nation is growing into a key player in the international community.
Lee stressed that South Korea will be the first country to completely overcome the economic crisis and see the bright light at the end of the dark tunnel if the South Korean people work hard with president-elect Park Geun-hye.
The president said he firmly believes that South Korea’s history of development and miracles, which was achieved with the people’s blood, sweats and tears, will continue in the future.
