Güney Kore ve Amerika donanmaları tarihi Incheon demir atma olayını yeniden canlandırdı. Bu olay Kore Savaşı’na yardım edip etmemek arasında gelgit yaşanırken Birleşmiş Milletler’in Kore’ye yardım edeceği kararına varan Amerikan Generali Douglas MacArthur’un komuta ettiği operasyonun 60. yıl dönümü anısına tasarlanmıştır.

The South Korean and U.S. navies reenact the historic Incheon Landing on seas off Incheon on Sept. 15. The event is designed to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the operation, commanded by U.S. Gen. Douglas MacArthur on Sept. 15, 1950, which decisively turned the tide of the Korean War in favor of the U.N. forces fighting for South Korea.
