Piyanist ve besteci olan Sunji Lee'nin ilk üniversitesindeki branşı Fransız edebiyatıydı fakat Seoul Sanat Enstitüsü'nde branşını müzik olarak değiştirdi. 2005 yılında New York'a taşındı ve New York Üniversitesi'nde caz bölümü lisansüstü eğitimini tamamladı.

Gil Goldstein, Don Fredman, Jean-michel pilc, Joe Lovano ve Ralph Alessi gibi dünyaca ünlü caz efsanelerinden piyano çalmayı ve beste yapmayı öğrendi. New York'un en iyi trompetçisi Ralph Alessi, basçı Ben Street ve baterist Mark Gerber ile birlikte ortaya koyduğu çıkış albümü "The Swimmer" (2009), Sunji Lee'nin farklı çalış ve besteleme tarzı sayesinde ün kazandı.

Ayrıca EBS space TV programında dünyaca ünlü trompetçi Ralph Alessi ile performans sergiledi. Ekim 2010'da, ikinci albümü "Summer Ends"i Japonya'da yayınlanması için bir teklif aldı ve yayınlandı. 2011 yılında düzenlenen 5. Jarasum Uluslararası Caz Yarışması'nda En İyi-Yaratıcılık Ödülü ile ödüllendirildi.

Sunji Lee, who is a pianist and a composer, had majored in French literature in her first university but changed her major to music in Seoul Arts Institute. She moved to New York in 2005 and finished Jazz Study Graduate program at New York University.

She was taught playing and composition by world-famous jazz legend such as Gil Goldstein, Don Fredman, Jean - michel pilc, Joe Lovano and Ralph Alessi. Her debut album "The Swimmer" (2009), with New York's top musician, trumpeter Ralph Alessi, bassist Ben Street, drummer Mark Gerber, got good reputation for her distinctive playing and composition style.

She also performed with worldwidely famous trumpeter, Ralph Alessi in EBS space TV program. In October 2010, her second album "Summer Ends" had received an offer of releasing from Japan and released. Recently, she was awarded with the Best-Creativity Prize in the 5th Jarasum International Jazz Concours in 2011.

She is playing and recording with many fellow musicians such as Jang-giho band SMFM (Seoul Meets Free Music). Her music has no boundary from modern jazz to free music. Sunji Lee is getting her own originality in both playing and composition with constant trials and experimental spirit.

Her yıl her enstrüman için 30 yaşının altındaki gelecek vaat eden müzisyenleri seçer. Bu yıl projenin beşinci yılı ve caz sahnelerinde çılgınca performans sergileyerek seçilen müzisyenler yetenekli ve özgün sanatçılar olarak biliniyorlar.

Bütün bu müzisyenler genç yaşlarına rağmen swing ve bi-pop gibi modern caz tarzında müzik yaparak Kore cazına yeni bir renk katıyorlar.

2007 yılı 3. Brussel Uluslararası Genç Jazz Şarkıcıları yarışmasının birincisi olan Jihye Lee, jazz türünü klasik ve geleneksel şarkı tekniklerini öğrendiği yer olan Güney Kore'deki Seoul Jazz Akademisinde öğrenmeye başladı.

Jihye Lee, revaçta olan jazz ve bebop alanında Lahey'de lisans derecesi aldı. Geleneksel jazz, funk türü, geleneksel Kore müziği ve serbest doğaçlama müziği ile modern sanattan etkilenerek kendi besteleri üzerinde çalışmaya başladı.

Çalışmaları sırasında 2002-2006 yılları arasında Lahey'deki Michael Brecker, Barry Harris, Mark Turner, John Ruocco&Deborah Brown ve Kore Geleneksel Müzik çalıştaylarına katıldı.

Yüksek lisansını 2008 yılında David Linx, Diederik Wissels ve Kris Defoort'la çalıştığı  Brüksel Kraliyet Konservatuar'ında aldı.

Yapımcılığını Grzegorz Karnas ve Jan Sudzinalk'ın yaptığı ilk CD'si 'Goblin Bee', jazz şirketi Hevhethia tarafından 2012 yılı Şubat ayında yayınlandı.
Jihyr Lee 2006 yılından beri aktif olarak performanslarını  verdiği Belçika'da yaşıyor.

Jazz Vocalist Jihye Lee

The winner of the 3rd edition of Brussels International Young Jazz Singers Competition 2007, Jihye Lee started to learn jazz at the Seoul Jazz Academy in South Korea where she also studied a basis in classical as well as traditional singing technique.

She obtained a bachelor degree in The Hague, where she studied mainstream jazz and bebop. She started to work on her own compositions influenced by traditional jazz, funk, Korean traditional music, free improvising music and modern art.

During her study she took workshops of Michael Brecker, Barry Harris, Mark Turner, John Ruocco en Deborah Brown, Korean traditional music workshops in The Hague (2002-2006).

In June 2008 she obtained her Master Degree at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels where she studied with David Linx, Diederik Wissels and Kris Defoort.

In February 2012 her first CD 'Goblin bee' is released by the jazz lable Hevhetia, producing by Grzegorz Karnas and Jan Sudzina.

Since 2006 she lives in Belgium performing actively.

İlk albümü "Twenty" ve diğer üç solo albümü "Ordinary Days", "My Eternal Love" ve “The Great Korean Songbook” (Korece pop şarkılarını caz tarzında yeniden düzenlemiştir) ile, Vian çok hassas bir piyanist ve zengin hayal gücüne sahip bir besteci olarak tanınmıştır. Berklee Müzik Koleji’nde caz performansı ile lisans derecesi almıştır ve Manhattan Müzik Okulu'ndaki caz performansı ile yüksek lisans derecesi almıştır. 2009 yılından bu yana, Kore'de Chungwoon Üniversitesi Uygulamalı Müzik Bölümü'nde tam zamanlı öğretim üyesi olarak ders vermektedir.

Vian majored in philosophy at Korea University, but his passion for music led him to study jazz music at the Berklee College of Music. After graduation, he has performed in Boston and New York. Since his return to Korea in 2006, Vian has actively performed in major jazz clubs and concert halls, had various musical exchanges and appeared on TV shows a number of times including EBS's Space Gong Gam. With his debut album "Twenty" and three other solo albums "Ordinary Days","Song My Eternal Love and "The Great Korean Songbook" (a collection of Korean pop songs re-arranged into jazz), Vian became known as a very sensitive pianist and composer with a rich imagination. He received his Bachelor's degree in jazz performance from the Berklee College of Music, and Master's degree in jazz performance at the Manhattan School of Music. Since 2009, he has been teaching as a full time professor in the Department of Applied Music at Chungwoon University in Korea.

Soulloge, siyah Soul müziğinin oluğuna trompet ve saksofonun yumuşak melodisini eklemeye odaklandı. Soulloge is a Korean contemporary jazz group and consists of four gentlemen; Sungmin Kim(trumpet), Suhwan(sax.), Wonsik Jeong(drums), Doyong Kim(bass) and Tae-ik Lim(guitar), all of whom are actively engaged in live music. The group was organized in 2010 and has involved with regular jazz performances sinces then. Thanks to passionate applause toward their single album relaesed in August, 2011, [Personality] was relaesed as their first regular album. Soulloge focuses on adding soft melody of trumpet and saxophone to the black Soul music's groove. The way the audience can idealy appreciate their live music is to feel the improvisation each member creates out of easy melody and deeply-arranged composition. In order for the audience to gain easy access to jazz, Soulloge performs various and exciting activities while playing and at the same time, they maintain improvisational attribute of jazz. Now that live performances grab audiences' attention, Soulloge try their best to provide interesting and heart-pounding exprience.

Soulloge is a Korean contemporary jazz group and consists of four gentlemen; Sungmin Kim(trumpet), Suhwan(sax.), Wonsik Jeong(drums), Doyong Kim(bass) and Tae-ik Lim(guitar), all of whom are actively engaged in live music. The group was organized in 2010 and has involved with regular jazz performances sinces then. Thanks to passionate applause toward their single album relaesed in August, 2011, [Personality] was relaesed as their first regular album. Soulloge focuses on adding soft melody of trumpet and saxophone to the black Soul music's groove. The way the audience can idealy appreciate their live music is to feel the improvisation each member creates out of easy melody and deeply-arranged composition. In order for the audience to gain easy access to jazz, Soulloge performs various and exciting activities while playing and at the same time, they maintain improvisational attribute of jazz. Now that live performances grab audiences' attention, Soulloge try their best to provide interesting and heart-pounding exprience.

Seoul Sanat Enstitüsü uygulamalı müzik alanında ihtisas yaptıktan sonra, Bae Sunyong Jazz Funk Band, JSFA, Yeongdo Seo Elektro Topluluğu, Jazz Park, Big band vb. gruplarla birlikte performans sergiledi. Bae Sunyong 2009 yılında aylık caz dergisi Jazz People'da yükselen yıldız olarak aday gösterildi. 2010 yılında Jarasum Uluslararası Caz Festivali'nde JSFA ve Yeongdo Seo Elektro Topluluğu ile performans sergiledi ve Kingston Rudieska grubunda aktif bir rol oynadı.

Having majored in practical music in the Seoul Instutite of the Arts, he has engaged in the performance of Jazz Funk Band, JSFA, Yeongdo Seo Electric Ensemble, Jazz Park Big band etc. In 2009 he was nominated as the Rising Star by monthly jazz magazine, Jazz people. In 2010, he performed with JSFA and Yeongdo Seo Electric Ensemble in the Jarasum international Jazz Festival and played an active part of group Kingston Rudieska.

Teknik becerileri ve karakteristik ses tonları ile, Kore'deki basçı dünyasında özgün bir konumdadır.

As a bassist for Watercolor and Another Season, J.C is working for various recording and live projects, such as K-pop, world, contemporary jazz, movie soundtracks, and fusion Korean traditional music, etc. With his technical dexterity and tonal characteristic, he has a distinctive position in a bassist world in Korea.

Ryol Kim (김 렬) - Sax

Seven years ago, members of Crystal Rain broke into one another when each member was performing respectively at Club Evans near Hong-ik University. The members found commonality in their thirst for 'something new'. Through more than a hundred live performances and numerous piece arrangements based on electronic music, the group released their sophisticated first album, 'Eternal Love'. It was a consequence of endeavor to achieve convergence of 1980s-90s' Jaz-Funk with electronic pop dance music, which is also called, "Acid Jazz". At that time, when Acid Jazz was a stranger to mass audiences, the group received huge attention and affection with their sensational album. After that, the group performed in various festivals and solo concerts. They also performed broadcasting activities such as Bae Chul Su's Music Camp, Yu Hui-yeol's Radio Heaven, Yoon Do-hyun's Love Letter and so on. Finally in 2012, after 4 years break, Crystal Rain has come back with their 2nd fine piece, 'Romantic Blue'. Guitarist Ju-won Park, Tae-hwan Kim, Sung-yun Hong are making up for the absence of regular member Sujin Lee, who is studying abroad, and are creating original sound. And POSTINO, DJ and producer from England, contributed to the perfection of the album as a mastering engineer. The album is integration of Crystal Rain's ingenious reinterpretation by adding groove sound of Acid Jazz to contemporary electronic music.

Hollanda’da temeli oluşturulan orkestra, 2011 yılının mayıs ayında albüm çalışmasını tamamladı. Toots Thielemans ve kayıt mühendisi Chris Weeda kayıt karıştırmada birlikte çalıştı. Albüm basçı Chet Baker ve Hein van de Geyn tarafından da gözden geçirilmiştir. NY Quartet Koreli genç lideri, yetenekli müzisyenleri ile kendi müzikal enerjisine sahiptir.

After the members were met in Netherlands during performance, in May 2011, “SKETCHES OF THE OLD WORLD” was recorded at Fattoria Musica Recording Studios in Germany.

While the quartet mainly performed in Netherlands, they completed the compositions and finished the album work in May 2011. Toots Thielemans engineer Chris Weeda worked together as recording and mixing. The album was well reviewed by Chet Baker bassist Hein van de Geyn. NY Quartet is young but talented musicians with Korean leader have its musical energy.

They both studied classical and contemporary music composition in renowned Joongang University. In addition, they also studied Korean traditional Pansori, Shaman music and Samulnori. They then went on to incorporate these components into the European Contemporary and Jazz music to pioneer the new style of music. The pianist of the duo, Miyeon, with sensuous and delicate touch, has a great ability not only in composing but also arranging.

Park Je chun, the percussionist, has unique drum set that combines both Korean and Western choice percussions. More amazingly he performs this drum set on the floor it comes naturally from the Korean culture and he finds it rather comfortable.

Having masterfully pioneered the free-improvisation music in Korea, Miyeon & Park have participated in many outstanding works by world- renowned music masters. Youn Sun Nah is well regarded for her remarkable vocal prowess. Though Nah was making waves in the Korean music scene, she decided to move to Paris in 1995 to study jazz and chanson.
