1957 yılında kurulan bu bina din adamları yetiştirmek amacıyla Sorok Presbiteryen Kilisesi tarafından Seongsil Bible Orta ve Yüksek Okulu olarak inşa edilmiştir.

Binanın genel tasarımı tipik bir okul şeklindedir - ön koridorlarda dersliklerle beraber yapıyı ahşap bir dizayn takip etmektedir.

1929’da inşa edilen bu bina, Japon sermayesine karşı olan Honam bölgesi insanları tarafından kurulmuş Honam Bankası’nın Mokpo şubesidir.

Genel tasarımın dikeyliğe odaklanılan basit bir yüzey olmasına rağmen, 2. kat duvarının üzerindeki çıkıntılı tasarımı ve saçak ve çatı altındaki kirişler ile bazı farklılıkları bulunur.

Bu, Kore’nin modern zamanlarının açık bir bağlantısı olan Mokpo’da finans alanında bulunun tek binadır.

Description
This building, built in 1929, is Mokpo branch of Honam Bank that was established by people of Honam region against Japanese capital.

Although the general design is simple surface with focus on verticality, some variation exists with the protruding design above 2nd floor wall and stringcourse below eaves and roof.

This is the only existing building in the field of finance at Mokpo, an open port of Korea’s modern times.

It’s highly valuable modern cultural heritage as a bank established purely on Korean capital.

Açıklama
Joyang Merkezi, vatanseverlik ve milliyetçi duyguları canlandırmak için, Daegu Kulübü üyelerinin yardımı ile Japon karşıtı mücadeleye adanmış bir milliyetçi olan Seo Sang-il tarafından inşa edilmiştir.

Kırmızı tuğla, Rönesans tarzı bina büyük bir oditoryum ve dersler ve gece derslerinin yapıldığı konferans salonundan ve çeşitli yayın faaliyetlerinin yürütüldüğü baskı odasından oluşur.

Binanın modern bir sosyal eğitim kurumu olarak tarihsel bir önemi vardır ve Kore mimarisi tarihi çalışmalarının değerli bir malzemesidir.

Description
The Joyang Center was built by Seo Sang-il, a nationalist dedicated to the anti-Japanese stuggle, with the help of members of the Daegu Club, to inspire patriotism and nationalist sentiment.

The red brick, Renaissance-style building consists of a grand auditorium and conference hall in which lectures and night classes were held, and a printing room in which various publication activities were carried out.

The building is historically significant as a modern social education institution, and is a valuable material for the study of Korean architectural history.

The building was transferred to its present location in June 1984.

Ağustos, 1948'de Kore Savaşı' nın patlak vermesi ile, komünist yönetimi altında Cheolwon ve Gimhwa köylüleri arasında
"İşçi Yeraltı Eylemcileri" adı altında köprü inşa etmek için seferberlik ilan edildi.

Fakat sadece kuzey kısmı tamamlandı.

Kore hükümeti tarafından 1958 yılında köprünün diğer kısmı tamamlanmıştır.

Köprünün kuzey ve güney kısımlarının yapısı dışarıdan farklı görünmektedir.

Savaşın kendine özgü durumla inşa edildiği ve şekli gibi tarihsel bir anlama sahip olduğu kabul edildi.

Jinnampo rafinerisini dizayn eden Kim, Myeong-Yeo tarafından tasarlanmış modern mühendislik
mirasının en önemli eserlerinden biridir.

Under the rule of communists the villagers of Cheolwon and Gimhwa were fully mobilized under the good name of "Labor Underground Activists" to build the bridge from August, 1948 through the outbreak of the Korean War.

But only northern half was completed.

In 1958 the rest part of the bridge was completed? by the Korean government.

The structure of northern and southern parts of the bridge externally appears to be different.

It was built in a peculiar situation of war and was considered to have a beautiful shape as well as a historical meaning.

It is one of the most important works of modern engineering heritage designed by Kim, Myeong-Yeo
who designed a refinery at Jinnampo.

Kore'nin siyasi tarihinde önemli bir yere sahip olan bu ev, bir çok politikacının biraraya gelip kendi siyasi görüşlerini tartıştığı tarihi mekandır.
Tarihi yapı olan Donam-jang'tan günümüzde sadece bir kısmı kalmıştır.

This lighthouse was built in 1937 by exploiting the patients’ funds and labor power located at latitude 34 degrees 30 minutes North and longitude 127 degrees 6 minutes East in the southern end of Sorokdo.

It is a white cylinder-formed lighthouse with a height of 7.5 meters.

The lighthouse tells us a historical fact of the patients with Hansen’s disease mingled with blood and sweat.

The Director’s official residence, built in 1934, was constructed with red bricks and with a ujingak roof and was divided into three parts: the main house, a separate building and an attached house.

With the living room and main porch as the center, a space was made for visitors and centering around the substitute porch another space was constituted for the family.

This is typical elements of the traditional Japanese official residence of the chief official during the Japanese occupation period.

This food storehouse was built in 1940 near the wharf of the seaside.

The storehouse with a gable roof and red brick walls in order to take custody of food from the land for the patients.

The foundation part of the building soaked in the seawater was bridge pier-formed over the concrete base and arch-formed with bricks.

This has a rare form in Korea and evaluated high in terms of the beauty of molding.

Demiryolunun temelinin alt kısmı taşlardan oluşmuştur ve daha üst kısmı , çizim hatları yerleştirilmesi ile betonarmeden oluşmuştur.

Üst kısıma demir su tankı yerleştirilmiştir ve makine odasının girişi, veranda seklinde bir çatıyla, makine odasına ayrı bir alan sağlar.

Makine odasının giriş kısmının çatı iskeleti, oluklu demir levhalarla kaplıdır ve zamanın özgün tahta kiriş yapısını gösterir.

The lower part of the base of railroad is composed of stones and the higher part is composed of ferroconcrete by establishing drawing lines.

At the upper part, iron water tank was established and the entrance of machine room provides a separate space to the machine room with a porch-formed roof.

The frame of roof for the entrance part of machine room was covered with corrugated sheet iron and shows then the typical structure of wooden truss.

Daegu Ili Öğretmen Okulu ana bina olarak Japon istilası süresince inşa edildi. Bu binanın tarihsel bir anlamı ve mimarlık tarihi açısından değeri vardır.

Ön taraf suni çatılar ve yatay yuvarlak bir kemerle dekore edilmiştir.

Binanın iç tarafı 1972'deki yangınla tamamen yıkılmış ve sonra orjinal formuyla tekrar restore edilmiştir.

Oditoryum, 1925 Japon istilası süresince Daegu öğretmen Okulu oditoryumu olarak inşa edilmiştir. Orjinal formu ise bugüne kadar iyi şekilde korunmuştur.

The front-side was decorated with artificial gables and horizontal rounding belt.

The inside of the building was entirely destroyed by fire in 1972 and was restored to the original form later.

The auditorium was built during the Japanese occupation period in 1925 as the auditorium of Daegu Normal School and its original form has been well preserved up to now.
