KBS Tops Viewership for 7 Consecutive Years
KBS Üst Üste 7 Yıl İzlenme Listesinin Lideri
Son rakamlara göre, Kore Yayıncılık Sisteminin (KBS), 2016 yılında yedinci kez üst üste yayın izleyici payı sıralamasında en üst sırada yer yer aldığı görüldü.
Kore Haberleşme Komisyonu tarafından Cuma günü yayınlanan verilere göre, geçen sene KBS TV kanallarının toplam görüntülenme sayısının yüzde 27,58'i ile tüm yayıncıların en büyüğü oldu.
Bu kanal yayınına KBS One, KBS Two ve KBS N kanalları da dahildir.
MBC, diğer karasal TV kanallarının izleyici payında yüzde 14,98 ile ikinci sırada yer alırken, SBS yüzde 8,67 ile üçüncü sırada yer aldı.
Genel programlama kanallarında ise, TV Chosun, yüzde 9,8 izlernirken, JTBC yüzde 7,7 puanla onun takipçisi oldu.
Komisyon, ülkedeki 266 yayıncı tarafından yönetilen toplam 388 kanalı incelemeye almıştı.

Latest figures show that the Korean Broadcasting System(KBS) has topped the broadcast viewership share ranking for a seventh consecutive year in 2016.
In data released Friday, the Korea Communications Commission found that last year the combined viewership of KBS TV channels reached 27-point-58 percent, the highest among all broadcasters.
The channels include KBS One, KBS Two and KBS N channels.
MBC was a distant second in the viewership share of other terrestrial TV channels at 14-point-98 percent, while SBS came in third with eight-point-67 percent.
As for the general programming channels, TV Chosun topped the group with nine-point-eight percent followed by JTBC with seven-point-seven percent.
The commission surveyed a total of 388 channels run by 266 broadcasters in the nation.

'Mudeungsan' Karpuzları
Bir çiftçi, 17 Ağustos 2017'de Seoul'ün 329 kilometre güneyinde bulunan Gwangju'da "Mudeungsan" karpuzlarını hasat ediyor. Bölgenin özelliği, yetişen karpuzların normal karpuzlardan iki veya üç kat daha büyük ve daha tatlı olmasıdır. Joseon Hanedanlığı döneminde (1392-1910) krala teklif edilmiş bu karpuzlar 20 Ağustos'ta satışa sunulacak.
