More than 500 Foreign Car Brands Recalled in 2016
500 Fazla Yabancı Araba Markası 2016 Yılında Geri Toplatıldı
Yerel ithal otomobil pazarının hızla büyüdüğü bir dönemde, geçen yıl Güney Kore'de geri toplama önlemlerine yasöz konusu olan yabancı otomobil markalarının sayısı 500'ü geçti.
Kara, Altyapı ve Ulaştırma Bakanlığı'na göre, 620 markanın yaklaşık 673 bin 800 otomobil, ürün kusurları ya da yerel standartlarla uyumsuzluk nedeniyle hükümet tarafından geri toplatıldı. Bunlardan 58 markanın 431 200 otomobili yerli iken 562 markanın 242 600 otomobili ise yabancı idi.
Geri toplanan araç sayısı 2015'te 1 milyon 54 bin'den %36 oranında azaldı. Bununla birlikte toplanan markaların sayısı yaklaşık %13 oranında arttı. Özellikle geri toplamaya söz konusu olan yabancı marka sayısı %51 ile 562 rekor seviyesine yükseldi.
Geçen yıl geri toplatılan ithal otomobillerden BMW 78 bin adet ile en yüksek seviyeye sahipti ve BMW'yi 44 700 ile Honda markası takip etti. Audi Volkswagen, Nissan ve Toyota da her biri geçen yıl 10 000 fazla arabası piyasadan toplatıldı.

Amid a rapid growth of the local import car market, the number of foreign car brands subject to recall measures in South Korea last year surpassed 500.
According to the car recall center under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, about 673-thousand-800 cars of 620 brands were recalled by the government for either product defects or noncompliance with local standards. Of them, 431-thousand-200 cars of 58 brands were domestic, while 242-thousand-600 cars of 562 brands were foreign.
The number of cars recalled declined by 36 percent from one-million-54-thousand cars in 2015. However, the number of brands subject to recall increased almost 13 percent. In particular, the number of foreign brands subject to recall jumped by 51 to a record high 562.
Of the imported cars recalled last year, BMW has the highest at 78-thousand, followed by Honda at 44-thousand-700. Audi Volkswagen, Nissan, and Toyota each also had their cars recalled by more than ten-thousand units last year.
