Yeongwon Temple (정보화마을 / Yeongwon-sa)

Yeongwon Tapinagi 920 metre rakımda olan Jiri Dağı'nın Samjeong-ri, Macheon-myeon, Hamyang-gun'da bulunur. Pek bilinen bir tapınak değil ama, Silla döneminde keşiş Yeongwon tarafından kurulmuştur.
Tarihte, Naeji-ri de çok büyük bir tapınakdı. Bu tapınakta birçok ünlü rahiplerin ibadet edeceği 9 tane özel meditasyon odası vardır. Meditasyon odası kayıtlarına göre, bu tapınağın 109 tane rahibi olmuş. Bunlardan en önemlileri; Buyongyeonggwan, Great Priest Seosan, Cheongmae, Samyeong, Jian, Seolpa Sangeon, ve Pogwang.
Ayrıca bunlar meditasyon için burda kalanlardı. Bu tapınak, Yeosu Riot isyancıların üs olarak kullanmaya geldikleri zaman tapınak rahipleri kendi onurunu kaybetmeyerek tapınağı onlara vermediler ve isyancılar tapşnağı yaktılar. Tapınak 1971 yılında inşa edildi.
Beş köşeli özel bir taş olan Pagoda gibi birçok özel taş bu tapınakda bulunmuştur. Bu taşın her köşesine ünlü rahiplerin ismi verilirdi çünkü; özel taşın korunması gerekiyordu. Bunların bazıları Yeongam Dang Pagoda, Seoul Padang Pagoda, Jungbongdang Pagoda, Cheonggye Dang Pagoda, Beokheodang Pagoda ve Cheongmae Pagoda gibi.

Yeongwonsa Temple is located about 920m in altitude on Mt. Jiri at Samjeong-ri, Macheon-myeon, Hamyang-gun. Its time of establishment is not known, but it is called Yeongwonsa because Priest Yeongwon from the Shilla Unification established it.
At one point in history, it was the largest temple at Naeji-ri. It had 9 meditation rooms made with shingles where many renowned priests meditated.
According to the Records of Meditation Rooms, 109 recognized priests of their times, including Buyongyeonggwan, Great Priest Seosan, Cheongmae, Samyeong, Jian, Seolpa Sangeon, and Pogwang, stayed here for meditation.
Yeongwonsa Temple lost its dignity when the rioters of Yeosu Riot took over the temple as their base and burned down all buildings for their strategies. The buildings were rebuilt in 1971.
Many stupa pagodas, including five rounded stone pagodas, have been found in this region. They are assembly-type pagodas with the bodies laid on the second level. It is assumed that these stupa pagodas were owned by Yeongwonsa Temple because many of them are named after thee great priests, such as Yeongamdang Pagoda, Seolpadang Pagoda, Jungbongdang Pagoda, Cheonggyedang Pagoda, Beokheodang Pagoda, and Cheongmae Pagoda.
The legend of Pildansari 3-story Stone Pagoda, which preserved the bones of Great Priest Gugokgagun who wrote 30 volumes of the Mythology of Seonmunyeomsong, tells us the historical value of Yeongwonsa Temple.
