Yeongsan Shin Evi 19. yüzyılda Kore'nin Güney bölgelerinde yapılan, zengin toprak sahiplerinin tipik yerleşim yerlerinden biridir. Genel düzeni, kuzey ve güney bağlantılı avluları bir andaemun (iç büyük kapı) ile bağlantılı bir "8" şeklindedir. Güney avlusunda ana bina sarangchae, byeolchae (dış bölüm ve iç bölüm), gotganchae ve munganchae (depo ve evin kapısı) vardır. Kuzey avlusuna büyük Anchae (iç kesim) hakimdir, kuzey ucu ise depo odaları ve ek odalar ile çevrilidir. Gamyo (tapınak) en özel alanda, evin kuzeydoğu köşesinde bulunur.

The Yeongsan Shin House is a beautifully preserved residence typical of wealthy landowners in the southern areas of Korea in the 19th century. The overall layout is in an "8" shape with north and south courtyards linked by an andaemun (inner large gate). The main buildings in the south courtyard are the sarangchae and byeolchae (outer quarters and guest quarters, respectively), and the gotganchae and munganchae (storehouse and gatehouse, respectively). The northern courtyard is dominated by the large anchae (inner quarters) on the north end, flanked by storage rooms and additional living quarters. A gamyo (shrine) sits at the northeast corner of the house in the most private area.
