Bir gemi teknisyeni olan ve şikâyet etmeksizin üvey babasına bakan Seoul’daki kocasının dışında, o turna gibi bir kadındır. Altı ayda bir kocasını görmeye Pusan’a gittiği zaman, Seol Pusan’ın görüş alanında kocasını beklerken bir yazar olan Wu-Yeol ile görüşür. Kocasının birkaç gün sonra döneceğini duyar ve mutsuz olur. Wu-Yeol bilfiil ona yakınlaşır ve onlar olması gereken düzenlemeler, yasalar ve ahlak olmaksızın bir dağ evinde birlikte kalır. Ertesi sabah, bir turna gibi onu terk eder, onu uyurken bırakıp gider.

Apart from her husband, a shipbuilding technician, Seoul, who takes care of her father-in-law without complaint, is a woman like a crane. When she goes to see her husband to Pusan in six month, Seol sees the sight of Pusan with Wu-Yeol, a writer, while waiting for her husband. She hears that her husband will return after several days and becomes despondent. Wu-Yeol gets close to her actively and they stay together at a mountain villa, without the mundane ethics and laws and regulations. Next morning, she leaves him like a crane, leaving him asleep.
