Seul Üniversitesi (Korece: 서울시립대학교, 서울市立大學校) Seul, Güney Kore yerel yönetimi tarafından yönetilen bir devlet üniversitesidir. Kampus Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu’da bulunuyor. Başlangıcı 1918 yılına dayanıyor, 1956’da 4 yıllık üniversite oldu, ve 1981’de üniversite oldu.

Kore’nin en iyi üniversitelerinden biri olarak bilinmektedir.


Genel Bakış

Seul Üniversitesi 1918’de kurulduğundan beri yüksek eğitim imkanları sağlıyordu. Tarihçe

* 1918 Kyung Sung Devlet Ziraat Okulu olarak kuruldu.
* 1956 4 yıllık eğitime geçti ve Seul Ziraat Okulu olarak tekrar adlandırıldı.
* 1975 Yönetim Komitesi Seul Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’ndan Seul Büyükşehir Belediyesi’ne transfer edildi.
* 1981 Seul Şehir Üniversitesi olarak adı değiştirildi.
* 1987 4 okul ve 22 şubeyle üniversite statüsüne geçti.
* 1993 Seul Büyükşehir Belediyesi himayesinde Seul Öğrenciler Enstitüsü kuruldu.
* 1996 Kent Bilimleri Üniversitesi kuruldu.
* 1997 Adı Seul Üniversitesi olarak değiştirildi.
* 1997 “Kent Bilimleri için Mekke” olarak üniversitenin eşsiz kimliği oluşturuldu.
Eğitim ve İnsan Kaynaklarının Geliştirilmesi Bakanlığı tarafından Kent Bilimleri’nde Güzide Üniversite olarak adlandırıldı.
* 1998 Kent Bilimleri Enstitüsü kuruldu.
* 2003 Stratejik Plan 2003-2007, Seul Üniversitesi’nin Yükselişi
* 2003 & 2004 Eğitim ve İnsan Kaynaklarının Geliştirilmesi Bakanlığı tarafından Kent Bilimleri’nin Merkezi Güzide Üniversite olarak yeniden adlandırıldı.
* 2005 Uluslararası Dayanışma ve Eğitim Enstitüsü kuruldu.
* 2008 Seul Üniversitesi 90. Kuruluş Yıldönümü.

The University of Seoul (Korean: 서울시립대학교, 서울市立大學校) is a public university operated by the municipal government of Seoul, South Korea. The campus stands in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu. It traces its origins to 1918, became a four-year college in 1956, and a university in 1981.

It is known as one of the top-class universities in Korea.
