Ülkenin gemi insa endüstrisinin merkezi olan Ulsan'da ki Gemi Insa ve Deniz Festivali, Kore'nin en popüler yaz kutlamalarindan biridir. Bu festival, 3 sene üst üste "Kore'nin En Iyi Plaji" unvanini alan Ilsan Kumsali'nin çevresinde gerçeklesmektedir.
Festival, ilk el deneyim programlari, yarismalar, etkinlikler ve daha fazlasini içeren genis bir yelpaze sunuyor. Ana kutlamalar; Yaz Festivali (ünlü sarkicilar ve diger kutlamalarin bulundugu), sandal yapma yarismasi, kumdan heykel yarismasi/sergisi, balikçilik, minyatür tekne sanati programi, su üzerinde ki yarislar, buz yontma gösterisi/sergisi, su sporlari ve uluslararasi kumsal voleybolu maçlarindan olusuyor.

Introduction:
The Shipbuilding & Sea Festival held in Ulsan, the center of the nation’s shipbuilding industry, is one of the most popular summer celebrations in Korea. The event is held in the neighborhood around Ilsan Beach, a beautiful beach which was named “Best Beach in Korea” three years in a row.
The festival offers a wide range of events including a variety of hands-on experience programs, contests, activities, more. Main events include the Summer Festival (featuring famous singers and other celebrities), creative boat making contest, sand sculpture contest/exhibit, fishing contest, miniature boats craft program, ‘running on water’ event, ice carving demonstration/display, water sports, and a beach volleyball match for internationals.
Transportation:
• From Ulsan Intercity Bus Terminal or Express Bus Terminal.
• Take Bus 108, 133 or 401 and get off at the entrance of Ilsan Beach.
