The Spitting Hill / Dökülen Tepe
Bilgenin eşi evliliği hakkında bir an durup düşündü.
“Suyu kovaya tekrar doldur.”
“Dökülen su ile kova nasıl doldurulabilir?”
Bilge cevap verdi:

The Spitting Hill
People come across a hill when they try to reach Bukpo2Ri from Bukpo1Ri. Behind the name 'The Spitting Hill' is an interesting story.
A classical scholor lived with his wife and family. Instead of providing for his family, he devoted himself to studying. They lived from hand to mouth, and his wife had to earn the living by weaving. One day in autumn, his wife spread the grains on the yard to dry them, and said to him,
"I'm going to the field to weed. In case it should rain, please cover the grains for me."
The scholar nodded his head, and she went to weed. While she was working, it started to pour but she kept on working on the field, thinking her husband would take care of them. When she returned home, there was no trace of the grains. They were all washed away because of the rain, and she came to have a second thought about her marriage, 'How can I live with such an incompetent man for the rest of my life? I better leave and divorce him now before it's too late.' So she said to her husband,
"I can't live with you any longer, and now I'm leaving."
He did not stop her, and they broke up. Several years later, he passed the state administered examination, and returned home with the laurel on his head. She recognized her exhusband and regretted her divorce. She said to him crying,
"Please forgive me this once and remarry me."
"Bring a bucket of water." said the husband.
When she brougt a bucket of water, he poured the water on the ground, and said,
"Put the water back in the bucket."
"How can I fill this buckket with the spilt water?" she said.
And he said,
"What's the use of crying over the spilt milk?"
She could not retort her husband any more. Still, she felt sorry for herself and laid the bucket on the hill in the hope that she might get the bucket filled with the spit people passed in it and get her husband back. What a foolish idea it was, and anyway that's how the hill got the name the spitting hill.
