Konusu

Nam-do ve Nam-sik; genç yaşta öksüz kalmışlardır ve Kangwon İli’nin derin ormanlarında büyükanneleriyle yaşarlar. Nam-do bir fabrikada çalışır ve Nam-sik ağabeyine karşı derin şefkat besler. Jung-ok sakat babası ve 2 kız kardeşiyle yaşar. On beş yaşında ailesine bakabilmesi için geçimini sağlamalıdır. Gece okuluna katılan Nam-do, para konusunda destek alabildiği Hava Kuvvet Akademisi'ne girmeye karar verir. Ama fabrikada çalışmaktan tükenmiştir ve testte başarısız olur, Seoul'a yönelir. Nam-sik, olayların oluşu ile hayal kırıklığına uğrar ama yine de bir serada sebze yetiştirmeye başlar. Sonra büyükannesi hasta olur, artık ev işlerine de bakmalıdır. Serasını yıkan kötü havayla karşılaşan, Nam-sik pes etmez ve sonunda hasatında başarılı olur.

Synopsis

Nam-do and Nam-sik, orphaned at a young age, lives in the deep forest of Kangwon province with their grandmother. Nam-do works in a factory and Nam-sik holds deep affection for his older brother. Jung-ok lives with her disabled father and two younger sisters. At fifteen, she must make a living to take care of the family. Nam-do who attends night school decides to enter the air force academy where he can get monetary support. But exhausted from working at the factory, he fails the test and heads to Seoul. Nam-sik is disappointed by the turn of events but he begins to grow vegetables in a green house. But when their grandmother takes ill, he must take care of the housework too. Faced with bad weather which ruins his greenhouse, Nam-sik doesn't give up and he finally succeeds in his vegetable harvest.
