Konu

Synopsis

During May, the Month of the Family, MBC introduces viewers to the touching story of a four-fingered pianist named Hee-ah (20 years old) and her mother Woo Gap-seon (50 years old). With high-quality pictures and synchronous recording, viewers will experience a movie-like documentary.
Born with a level-one congenital malformation of her limbs, Hee-ah only has two fingers on each hand. She doesn¡¯t have the lower part of her legs and her IQ is lower than average. Therefore, everyone believed that it was impossible for her to play the piano. However, Hee-ah and her mother never gave up. She believed that Hee-ah wouldn¡¯t be able to do anything if she couldn¡¯t play the piano. Therefore, they applied themselves to the task with particular urgency. After practicing the piano for 10 hours a day, Hee-ah finally became the only four-fingered pianist in the world. Now, she has become a living symbol of hope for the physically and mentally challenged, and she also made the those without such burdens look deeply into their own lives.
Hee-ah, The Four-Fingered Pianist documents the life of Hee-ah, who made possible what seemed to be impossible, and her devoted mother over the course of a year.
