En çok KBS2 dizisi Dream High’taki Go Hye Mi rolü, Big’deki Jang Ma Ri, bir film olan Architecture 101’deki genç Yang Seo Yeon rolü ve MBC dizisi Gu Family Book’taki Dam Yeo Wool rolü ile bilinir. Biyografi:
Suzy 10 Ekim, 1994’de Gwangju’da doğmuştur. Seoul Sahne Sanatları Lisesi’ne katılmıştır. Çıkış öncesi, online alışveriş modeliydi. 2009’da, Mnet Superstar K seçmelerine ve ön turlarına katıldı fakat elendi. Herneyse, JYP Entertainment’ın dikkatini çekti ve stajyer oldu. 1 yıllık stajyerlikten sonra Suzy diğer üyeler Fei ve Jia ile eşleştirildi. Miss A
Temmuz 2010’da, JYP Entertainment tarafından yönetilen Miss A olarak single şarkıları ‘’Bad Girl Good Girl’’ ile grubun vokalisti ve görüntüsü olarak çıkış yaptı. 7 haftalık başarılı promosyondan sonra grup Ekim’de ikinci singleları Step Up’dan ‘’Breathe’’ ile geri dönüş yaptı. Grup şarkının 1 ay boyunca promosyonunu yaptı ve 7 Kasım’da veda ettiler. Grup ilk uzun stüdyo albümleri A Class’ın ‘’Goodbye Baby’’ başlıklı parçası ile Temmuz 2011’de döndüler. Grup Eylül ayı başında büyük başarı elde ettikten sonra veda ettiler. Grup daha sonra Çin’deki çıkışlarını da içeren yurtdışı faaliyetlerine odaklandı.

Solo Aktiviteleri
Ekim 2010’da Suzy, SHINee’den Minho ve Onew ve T-ara’dan Jiyeon ile birlikte MBC Show! Music Core için sunuculuk yapmaya başlamıştır. Daha sonra Inkigayo, M! Countdown, M! countdown Hello Japan, 21. Seoul Müzik Ödülleri, F.T. Island üyesi Hongki ile birlikte 26. Altın Disk Ödülleri’nde ve oyuncu Song Joong Ki ile birlikte “2011’in en yeni yıldızı” kategorisinde ödül aldığı Mnet 20ler Tercih Ödülleri’nde sunuculuk yapmıştır.

Grup faaliyetleri dışında Suzy, oyunculuk kariyerine KBS2’da 3 Ocak – 28 Şubat 2012 tarihleri arasında yayınlanan Dream High adlı dizi ile başlamıştır. 22 Mart 2012’de Introduction to Architecture adlı filmdeki Seo Yeon rolü ile film dünyasındaki çıkışını yapmıştır. 4 Haziran 2012’de Gong Yoo ve Lee Min Jung ile birlikte çılgın ama güzel Jang Mari rolüyle Big adlı dizinin bir parçası olmuştur.

Ekim 2011’de Girls' Generation’dan Sunny ve Hyoyeon, Kara’dan Jiyoung, f(x)'den Amber, SISTAR'dan Bora, Rainbow'dan Woori ve Jewelry'den Yewon gibi idol gruplardan 8 kızın yer aldığı KBS2 TV realte programı Invincible Youth 2’da oyuncu üye olmuştur. Şovun çekimlerine 19 Ekim’de başlanmış ve 11 Kasım’da yayınlanmıştır.

4 Kasım 2011’de Suzy’nin Pretty adlı yeni bir müzik videosunda sürpriz bir görünüm yapacağı ortaya çıkmıştır. Suzy, ana bayan karakter rolünü oynamıştır ve doğal güzelliği ve masum çekiciliği ile izleyicileri büyülemiştir. MVnin başındaki ağlayabilmesi ile güçlü bir etki bırakmıştır.

2012’de Suzy, Vogue Girl fotoğraf çekimlerine katılarak Kore Vatandaşları Koalisyonu tarafından yürütülen Pembe Kanatlar Kampanyası’na olan desteğini göstermiştir.

Çıkış filmi Architecture 101, 2012 yılının ilk çeyreğinde Kore’de en çok izlenen on filmden biri olmuştur. Filmin tiyatrosunun yayınlanmasından sonraki dokuz haftada 4.1 milyon izleme oranını yakalamıştır.

Bae Suzy, Twitter’da bir milyondan fazla takipçi sayısına sahip ilk Koreli bayan ünlü olması ile bilinmektedir. Ayrıca Suzy, 48. Paeksang Ödülleri gecesinde En İyi Yeni Oyuncu Ödülü’nü aldıktan sonra bir çaylak şarkıcı ödülü, dizi çaylağı ödülü ve film çaylağı ödülü alan ilk Koreli bayandır. Bae Su Ji commonly known by her stage name Suzy, is a South Korean idol singer, rapper,dancer, actress, model and MC. She is best known for her roles as Go Hye-mi in the KBS2 TV series' Dream High, Jang Ma Ri in Big, young Yang Seo Yeon in the movie Architecture 101, and Dam Yeo Wool in the MBC TV series' Gu Family Book. She is the main vocalist of the Korean girl groupmiss A, which debuted under JYP Entertainment alongside with AQ Entertainment in 2010.

Biography:
Suzy was born in Gwangju, South Korea on October 10, 1994. She attended Seoul Performing Arts High School. Before debuting, she was an online shopping model. In 2009, she auditioned for Mnet Superstar K and made it through the preliminary round but she was ultimately eliminated. However, she caught the attention of a scout from JYP Entertainment and soon became a trainee. After training for a year, she was paired with fellow membersFei and Jia. After the last-minute addition of Min into the group, the four of them prepared to debut as miss A.

Career:

Miss A
In July 2010, Suzy made her debut as a member of miss A, a girl group managed by JYP Entertainment, with the single "Bad Girl Good Girl" as a vocalist of the group and image of the group[1] After a successful promotion period of 7 weeks, the group came back in October with a new title track, "Breathe", from the second single Step Up. The group promoted the song for a month and had their last goodbye stage on November 7. The group then returned in July 2011 with the release of their first full-length studio album A Class with the title track "Good Bye Baby". The group held their goodbye stage in early September after finding great success with their album and title track. The group then turned their focus towards their overseas activities, including their Chinese debut.

Solo Activities
In October 2010, Suzy became the host for MBC Show! Music Core alongside Minho and Onew, both from SHINee, and Jiyeon, from T-ara. Suzy later hosted other shows such as Inkigayo, M! Countdown, M! countdown Hello Japan, the 21st Seoul Music Awards, 26th Golden Disk Awardswith F.T. Island's Hongki, and Mnet 20's Choice Awards alongside the actor Song Joong-Ki where she won an award under the category "hot new star of 2011"
Apart from her group activities Suzy made her acting debut with the drama Dream High, which aired on KBS2 from January 3 to February 28, On March 22, 2012, she made her movie debut in the film Introduction to Architecture as young Seo yeon. On June 4, 2012, Suzy was also part of Hong Sister's drama "Big" beside Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung as the crazy but beautiful Jang Mari.
In October 2011, it was confirmed that Suzy became a cast member in KBS2 TV reality show Invincible Youth 2 (청춘불패) in which Suzy was a part of G8, consisting of eight girls from idol groups as Girls' Generation's Sunny and Hyoyeon, Kara's Jiyoung, f(x)'s Amber, SISTAR's Bora, Rainbow's Woori and Jewelry's Yewon. The show began filming its first episode on October 19 and aired on November 11.
On November 4, 2011, it revealed that Suzy will make a surprise appearance in the new music video titled Pretty but Hateful of former g.o.d.'s member Son Ho Young. Suzy played the role of the main female character and captivated the audience with her natural beauty and innocent charm. She left a strong impression by being able to cry on demand in the beginning of the MV.
In 2012, Suzy showed her support towards the Pink Wings Campaign, ran by the Korean Citizens' Coalition for Teens, by participating in the special photoshoot Vogue Girl conducted.
Her debut film, Architecture 101, was one of the ten most-watched films in Korea in the first quarter of 2012. Nine weeks after its theater release, it reached over 4.1 million admissions, a new box office record for Korean melodramas.
Bae Suzy is well known for being the first Korean female celebrity to have more than one million followers on Twitter. She is also the first Korean female to win a singer rookie award, drama rookie award and movie rookie award after receiving her Best New Actress Award at the 48th Paeksang Awards night. It has also been announced by the JYP Agency on January 31, 2013 that she will be playing as the main female character in the upcoming drama "Gu Family Book" with Korean actor Lee Seung Gi. The drama proved a great success staying number one for the Monday-Tuesday time-slot throughout its entire run.
