Suwon İstasyonu , Güney Kore kentinde bulunan bir tren istasyonudur . İstasyon tamamen 2002 ve 2003 yeniden geliştirildi ve şimdi Aekyung alışveriş merkezi ile bütünleşti. Bu istasyon, ulusal Gyeongbu hatı hizmetleri ile çalışır ve Kuzey Soyosan İstasyonu'ndan Güney Sinchang için Seul Metro hattı 1 ile hizmet vermektedir..

Tarih:
Suwon İstasyonu 1 Ocak 1905 açıldı. 1 Aralık 1930 dar hat Yeoju Suwon Suryeo hattı açıldı. 6 Ağustos'ta, 1937 Suwon Suin satırından Incheon için seferler başladı. İki yıl sonra 15 Ağustos 1974'te Seul Metro Suwon hizmetlerine başladı ama üç yıl sonra 1 Nisan 1972'de Suryeo hattı, kapandı. Suin hattı ve dar hat Hizmetleri e 1 Ocak 1996 sonlandırıldı..

Suwon İstasyonu AK Plaza ile binayı paylaşmaktadır.Istasyonun kendisi zemin (tüm hizmetler için) ve yeraltı üzerindedir.(metro hizmetleri için).Birçok mağaza ve restoranlar istasyonu ve bunun dışında bulunan istasyon vardır.

Ülke genelinde 92 İdari bölümler üzerine Kara, Ulaştırma ve Denizcilik İşleri Bakanlığı tarafından 2011 yılında yapılan bir araştırmada, Suwon Tren İstasyonu ve AK Plaza yakınındaki otobüs durağı, en sık kullanılan, günlük ortalama 77,326 insanlar yatılı ve 63,255 insanların da inmek için orada olduğunu bildirdi.

Suwon Station is a railway station in the city of Suwon, South Korea. The station was completely redeveloped in 2002 and 2003, and is now integrated with the Aekyung Shopping Mall. This station serves the national Gyeongbu Line and Line 1 of the Seoul subway, which runs services from Soyosan Station to the north to Sinchang to the south.

History:
Suwon Station opened on January 1, 1905. On December 1, 1930, the narrow gauge Suryeo Line from Suwon to Yeoju opened. On August 6, 1937, the Suin Line from Suwon to Incheon began operating services. Over three decades later, on April 1, 1972, the Suryeo Line closed, though two years later, on August 15, 1974, the Seoul Subway began services to Suwon. The Suin Line and narrow gauge services were both terminated on January 1, 1996.

Building:
Suwon Station shares a building with AK Plaza. The station itself is above ground (for all services) and underground (for metro services only). There are many stores and restaurants located in the station and outside of the station.
In a survey conducted in 2011 by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs on 92 Administrative divisions across the country, it reported that the bus stop, near Suwon Railway Station and AK Plaza, was the most frequently used, with a daily average of 77,326 people boarding and 63,255 people alighting.
