Sunchang geleneksel soya sosu festivali; her sonbahar Sunchang ilçesinde düzenlenir.
Sunchang acı biber sosu,Joseon hanedanlığını boyunca,kraliyet ailesine sunulmuştur.Birçok faydası vardır;kanser ve obeziteyi önlediğine inanılır.Kore meclisinin bir parçası olan acı soya sosu ile insanlar daha sağlıklı ve dinçtir.Acı soya sosu festivali;folk köyünde herkesin görebileceği bir yerdedir.Orada ünlü performanslar ve bir dizi programlar içeren,dövüş gösterileri,madangnori ve acı biber sosu yapılacaktır.
Sunchang özel sergisinin yanı sıra diğer etkinlikler;mayalanmış sebzeli acı sos yapma,bakbunja (nar) likörü yapma,çocuklar resim yarışması ve fotoğraf sergileridir.Festivalin en büyük rekabeti,ünlü geleneksel acı sos yarışması,görülmeye değerdir.

Sunchang Fermented Sauce Festival is held every fall at Sunchang, a city of health and longevity.
Sunchang hot pepper sauce, which used to be presented to the Royal Family during the Joseon Dynasty, has many health benefits: it is believed to be beneficial in preventing cancer and obesity. As people get more interested in their health and wellbeing, the hot sauce has become an even greater part of the Korean diet. The venue of the festival is Hot Sauce Folk Village, a Mecca of Sunchang Hot Sauce. There will be a range of programs including celebrity performances, percussion performances, Madangnori, and making traditional hot sauce. Other side events include Sunchang Specialty Exhibition (e.g. vegetables fermented in hot sauce, Bokbunja liquor), Childrens Painting Contest, and photo exhibitions. The festivals crowning glory is the Sunchang traditional hot sauce competition, a must-see event.
