Son Jongno Shrine - 손종로 정충비각

Bu anıt Kral Jeong Jo tarafından Son Jongno ve 1936'da Manchu istilasında öldürülen kölesi Eokbu'yu takdirle anmak için yaptırılmıştır.
Son Jongno , Manchus Kore'ye saldırdığında Ichon'daki Ssangnyong savaşında kölesiyle birlikte öldürüldü.Son'un cesedi asla geri alınamadı.Ailesi ise onun kıyafetleriyle dinsel bir cenaze töreni düzenledi.
Son Jongno'nun mezar taşı Yi Jeounggu tarafından yazıldı.Kaligrafi ise Jeong Chungpil tarafindan tamamlandı.

This stele, enclosed in a shelter, was erected in 1783 by order of King Jeongjo (1776-1800) to memorialize Son Jongno (1598-1636) and his faithful slave Eokbu, who were killed in action during the 1636 Manchu invasion, for their loyalty and patriotism.
Son Jong-no was a great-great-grandson of Son Jungdon. He passed the state military service examination in 1618 and was appointed magistrate of Nampo. When the Manchus invaded Korea, he was killed together with his slave in the battle of Ssangnyong in Ichon, Gyeonggi-do. Because Son's body was never recovered, the family held a spiritual funeral for him using his clothes.
The epitaph was composed by Yi Jeonggyu and the calligraphy was done by Jeong Chungpil.
