Sokcho-si Sokcho Sunrise Festivalini, yeni yılın ilk gününde Sokcho plajında bir alanda düzenler. Bu sene, umut ve halkın gurur mesajını vermek için ve Sokcho'nun turistler için positif bir yer olduğu izlenimini artırmak için festival yerlileri ve turistleri birleştirecek bir mekan sağlamayı düşünüyor.

Festival umut dolu yeni yıl mesajlarıyla başlar, havai fişek gösterileriyle, davul performansları ve şiir rezitaliyle devam eder. Gösteriler gelecek yıl içinde bolluk ve bereket istemek için tasarlanmıştır.Ayrıca arka planda Doğu denizi fotoğrafı ve Alaska morinalarını, mürekkep balıklarının kurutulma tarlaları fotoğrafları vardır. Çeşitli etkinlikler ve devreden programlar, ışıklarla süslenmiş çam ağaçları ve yeni yıl mesajları taşıyan fenerlerin bulunduğu plajın yanında sunulur. Festival ziyaretçiler için bir çok eğlence programı ve şovlar sunar.

Sokcho-si holds the Sokcho Sunrise Festival in the area around Sokcho Beach on the first day of the New Year. This year, the festival aims to provide a venue for the union of the locals and tourists, to deliver messages of hope and pride to citizens, and enhance the image of Sokcho as a tourist city full of positive energy to tourists.

The festival kicks off with a New Year message full of hope, and follows with fireworks show, drum performance, and a poem recital. The events are designed to ask for prosperity and abundance in the coming year. Also a photo zone with the East Sea as a background and a fish drying field with racks used to dry Alaska Pollack and squid will be set up. Various events and hands-on programs are offered, including decorating pine trees with lights near the beach and the flying of wish lanterns carrying New Year messages. The festival offers many attractions and entertainment for visitors.
