K-pop Star Zamanı
Seunghoon, 2011'de eğlence programı olan SBS K-pop Star'ın seçmelerine katılmak için başarıyla elemelere katıldı. Programın amacı; yeni yıldızları SM,YG ve JYP gibi 3 büyük K-pop şirketine dahil etmektir. Program o yıl Aralık ayında başladı. O, 15 Nisan 2012 tarihinde daha önce hiç elenmeden ''7. Canlı Tur''u başarıyla ilk 10'da devam ettirdi. Seunghoon, diğer finalistlerle birlikte SBS'de ''Güçlü kalp''in 8 Mayıs'taki bölümüne çıktı. Seunghoon, kısa bir süre sonra 16 Mayıs'ta YG Entertaintment'in stajyeri olması için özel bir sözleşme imzaladı. 19 Mayıs Seul Yeouido'da ''Gençlik Festivali''nde sahnede yer adı. K-pop Star yarışmacısı Park Jae Hyung ile ''Boys Like Girls'' başlıklı Vogue Girl Korea'nın Haziran 2012 sayısında Moke Najung tarafından fotoğraflandı.

WINNER
Seunghoon, 25 Şubat 2013 tarihinde YG'nin yeni grubunun bir üyesi olarak başlangıç yaptı. 1 Ağustos tarihinde YG şirketi, erkek stajyer grubun dans performansını YouTube kanalına yükledi. Yeni bir stajyer ''survival'' adlı programa Mnet üzerinden ayın 23ünde katılacağını açıkladı. "WIN: Who Is Next?" adlı program, YG stajyerleri ikiye bölünerek çıkış yapabilmeleri iki gruba rekabet şansı verdi. Seunghoon, beş üyeli ''Team A''nın üyesiydi. Seunghoon ilkkez 20 Ağustos tarihinde yapılan WIN basın toplantısında Takım A'nın bir parçası olarak halkın huzuruna çıktı. 25 Ekim'de ''WIN'' de Takım A üçüncü ve son savaşı kazandı. Onlar çıkış yaparken ''WINNER (KAZANAN)'' adını aldı. Seunghoon WINNER üyesi olarak yaptığı ilk performansı 15 Kasım Saitama,Japonya'da yaptı. WINNER resmi olarak 6 Ağustos 2014 tarihinde çıkış yaptı.

Lee Seunghoon is a South Korean rapper and singer under YG Entertainment. He is a member of boy group WINNER. He finished in fourth place in the first season of K-POP STAR.

K-pop Star
In 2011, Seunghoon successfully auditioned for SBS K-pop Star, an entertainment industry audition program. The program's aim is to cast new "stars" into K-pop's three biggest companies: SM, YG, and JYP. The show began to air in December of that year. He successfully made it through to the top 10 before being eliminated in the "7th Live Round" on April 15, 2012, placing fourth overall. Seunghoon appeared on the May 8 episode of SBS "Strong Heart" with other finalists. On May 16 it was announced that Seunghoon had signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment and would shortly thereafter become a trainee. He performed at 'Youth Festival' in Yeouido, Seoul on May 19. Seunghoon was photographed by Moke Najung for a spread in Vogue Girl Korea's June 2012 edition entitled "Boys Like Girls" with fellow K-Pop Star contestant Park Jae Hyung.

WINNER
On February 25, 2013 it was announced the Seunghoon would debut as part of a new YG group. On August 1, YG Entertainment's YouTube Channel uploaded a dance performance by a male trainee group. A new trainee "survival" program was announced to begin on the 23rd on Mnet. Called "WIN: Who Is Next?" the program divided the male YG trainees into two groups to compete for a chance to debut. Seunghoon was part of five-membered "Team A." Seunghoon made his first public appearance as part of Team A at the WIN press conference held on August 20. On October 25, Team A won the third and final battle of "WIN." They took the name "WINNER" for their debut. Seunghoon made his first public appearance as a member of WINNER in their first stage performance on November 15 in Saitama, Japan when WINNER opened for Big Bang at Seibu Dome. WINNER officially debuted August 6, 2014.
