Tipik bir üst sinif Joseon evi olan Gangneung Seongyojang Evi, bir zamanlar Kral Sejong'un kardeslerinden biri olan Prens Hyoryeong'un torunlarina aitti. Bu tarihi ev, Ulusal Kültür Varligi olarak belirlenen ilk özel konut oldu.

Gayrimenkul 25 dönümlük bir alana yayilmis 10 binadan olusup toplam 130 kan alandan olusan bir zemin sunar. Tarihi evlerin en genisi, en moderni ve en güzeli kabul edilen Seongyojang Evi, sik sik filmlerde ve TV dizilerinde yer olarak kullanilir. “Hwang Jini” TV dizisinin dövüs sahneleri bu evde çekilmistir.

A typical upper-class Joseon home, Gangneung Seongyojang House once belonged to the direct descendants of Prince Hyoryeong, one of the brothers of King Sejong. This historic home was the first private residential estate ever to be designated a National Cultural Property.

The estate consists of ten buildings scattered across a vast 25-acre lot, offering a total floor area of 130 kan. Considered the most beautiful and largest of the more modern historic homes, Seongyojang House is frequently used as a filming location for movies and TV dramas. Scenes from the smash-hit TV drama, ‘Hwang Jini’ were filmed at the estate.
