Royal Wedding Ceremony

Saray halkı için düğün, Joseon Krallığı düğün töreninin altı unsurunun düzenlenme şürecinde birkaç ay boyunca binlerce kişi çalışır. Süreç “napchae” “napjing,” “gogi,” “chaekbi,” ”chinyeong” ve “dongrae” kapsar.
Örneğin "napchae", gelecekteki kraliçeye ulakla resmi bir teklif mektubu gönderilerek belirtir, "chaekbi" adımında gelecekteki kraliçeye taç giydirilir ve "Dongrae kraliyet evliliğinin tamamlanmasını anlamına gelir.

Sarayın danışma kurulu tarafından kapsamlı tarihsel araştırma ve danışmaya dayanarak Kore tarihinin önemini anmak ve solan geleneksel kültüre bir parça yeni ışık tutmak için etkinlik organize edilir. Kore Kraliyet kültürünün ihtişamı ve zarafetini tanıtmak ve halka büyük bir geleneksel tören sunmak amacıyla, Seoul Büyükşehir Hükümeti her yıl ilkbahar ve sonbaharda Kral Gojong ve Kraliçe Min’in kraliyet düğün töreninin yeniden sahnelenmesinde ev sahipliği yapar.

Unhyeongung, Kraliyet düğün törenine dayanan bir mekandır, Kral Gojong ve Kraliçe Min'in düğünün yeniden sahnelenmesi 21 Mart 1866 tarihinde Unhyeongung yerinde gerçekleşti. Bu yeniden sahnelenme, her yıl ilkbahar ve sonbaharda gerçekleşir.
Bu törende imparatorluk ailesinin kraliyet düğün töreni muhteşem ve ihtişamlı stili, sarayın danışma kurulu tarafından kapsamlı tarihsel araştırma ve danışmaya dayalı tam bir yeniden sahnelenme vardır. Bu yeniden sahnelenme ziyaretçilerin Joseon hanedanının gösterişli ve şık geleneksel kraliyet kostümleri ve yaşam tarzlarının deneyimi için bir fırsat sunuyor.

For a court wedding, the Joseon Kingdom employed several thousands of people over several months to organize the procedure of six aspects of the wedding ceremony. The procedure comprises “napchae” “napjing,” “gogi,” “chaekbi,” ”chinyeong” and “dongrae.”
For instance “napchae” indicates sending a messenger with a formal proposal letter to the future queen, while the “chaekbi” step is the crowning the future queen and “dongrae means the consummation of the royal marriage.
The red wedding robe and the crown of the queen-to-be are decorated with symbolic artwork. The red attire of the future queen represents her role a helper to the king and a further blessing to the king. The pattern of a pair of birds on the robe signifies the harmony between yin and yang, or the affinity between the married royal couple.

Based on thorough historical research and consultation by the palace’s counsel panel, the event is organized to commemorate the significance of Korean history and to shed some new light on a fading traditional culture. In an effort to promote the majesty and grace of Korean royal culture and present a major traditional ceremony to the public, the Seoul Metropolitan Government hosts a reenactment of the royal wedding ceremony of King Gojong and Queen Min in the spring and fall every year.

Unhyeongung is the site for the last Royal wedding ceremony, a reenactment of King Gojong and Queen Min's wedding that took place on the grounds of Unhyeongung on March 21, 1866. This reenactment takes place in the spring and fall of every year.
This ceremony is an exact reenactment, based on thorough historical research and consultation by the palace’s counsel panel, of the regal and grandeur style of the imperial family's royal wedding ceremony. This reenactment offers visitors an opportunity to experience the spectacular and elegant traditional royal costumes and lifestyles of the Joseon dynasty.
